Hey guys, watching a couple of the videos you guys shot here in this room, was wondering what kind of mic you guys are using in these videos? Sounds great! Keep rockin' \m/

@destroycarthage For the videos in my den we used a Rode Stereo Video Mic. It uses a 9 volt battery, and plugs into the camera via a standard mini headphone jack with an extension cable overriding the built-in mic. The mic will pick up the sound of you wrinkleing your shirt from 3 to 6 feet away. The stereo effect is very apparent on playback. They are really nice for situations like this one.

by the way is that a washburn bass? what can you tell abut it? plays acoustic too? ad how does it sound unplugged? i was thinkin to get a dean performer for acustic bass, ill apreciate your comments, best regards

@cerojase Yes... it's a Washburn AB-20. It feels and plays Great, but is not very loud unplugged. Most others aremuch thicker bodied and clunky but perhaps a little louder acoustically. I've not played a Dean, but my rule is "if it feels good and sounds good,,, get it". You might check out the Breedlove series.. I got one recently... feels good, and different from the Washburn (check them all closely for buzzes near rthe 12th fret)

Still we appreciate all the positive comments and we're thankful that people actually bother to listen to us (and hire us to play now and then).
