@XcZeus3469 no, a worm hole would be used to jump large portions of space, basically if you think of space as a piece of paper, lets say 50 light years by 50 light years, taking one end of that piece of paper and folding it over to were the ends touch would create a wormhole, as for some reason thats still 50 by 50 light years of FLAT space, but thats because the fabric of the universe is not understood that well

Fox's father's ship was a much older ship. The Arwings were new, the ship he had was not. The comic specifically made mention of this, his ship wasn't capable of navigating and escaping the black hole. And as a previous comment said, he lacked a G-Diffuser.

You cann see a CLEAR difference between emulation and console-running.

It moves WAY faster on emulator, while on the SNES, the console actually suffers to get the polygons running.

Keeping in mind, about the whole crushed by a black whole thing, that as you are pulled to the "ground" your ship, having greater mass, should accelerate faster, preventing you from actually "crushing".

However, since you weigh more then light, it is possible for you to break the speed of light and thus cease to exist within our space/time universe... like Fox's father...

I don't think that's Fox's dad. I think it's just a 1-up powerup. There are three polygons spinning in a circle. Shoot each one once, and an Arwing appears inside it. Run into it to collect a 1-up.

Blimey, I never realized it until now how crazy the Black Hole is.

All the crap you see spiraling around in there is what's left of probably the Venomian second wave inbound for Corneria, and they got caught in the gravity well I guess and spend the rest of the game stuck in crushing darkness. That's a pretty horrifying fate, don't you think?

No, James was testing an experment of Androsses and it spontaneously combusted detroying half the asteriod bel and vanishing James somewhere. There is controversy surrounding if he is really dead since he appears periodicallly. I think the other games werent from the same developers. Since the N64 was a remake. I think the Real Star Fox in my opinion, is in the SNES version.
