To this time was so many good rock sound in the world ( from Beatles to Deep Purple to King Crimson & many others ) a great rock revolution & Peacepipe was a band with no chance to this time ... AND Commerce have own legislation ...
Kinda trippy for "biker" music from back then. When I think of motorcyle people music from the 1960s, I think of tunes like Blues Theme by Dave Allan and The Arrows, Liar, Liar by The Castaways, Seven and Seven Is by Love, Who Do You Love? (the version by The Woolies), and You Make Me Real by The Doors. That's the kind of Rock that me and my riding partners listened to back then.
@gnowave You are right on the dime. I like the older biker music. The Cult (Love Removal Machine) is as good as it gets for more contemporary "biker" music. If you ride, stay safe. Best - W
@mickeymousebiker1 just read your riding partner fave sounds tho. cool stuff for biker folk too. am guessing you must be in US. as here in UK it is a very regimented conesrvative redneck narrow blues-rock scene. they hate acid too.
doors, and arthur lee's love. top stuff buddy. shame to hearof arthurs death a few years back, but wot a great live set at glastonbury. shud be lots of that on youtube too.
for me was this first of all a conflict "easy rider sound in psychedelic art show ???"
on a other side i say "art is free & why not to do a little experience ?"
A machine have no feeling today - but the rider on the machine have in his brain so many pictures, feelings ...
we understand not the self brain & so we make fantasy & nobody must this understand - & so I say fantasy need a free great room for all people in peace against egoist in this world ... TNX for your understand .
@udor1962 most of the best MODERN psychedelic rock/music is electronic, as was all of this stuff in its primitive way. neither are better, a good artist is good whether in a "real" band, or an electronic one. you still hav to write songs and create dynamics. most bands play like robots too.
check out sytm 7 (starring steve hillage of gong) and the orb. fine psychedelic music
I played with Rick Apts and John Uzoni in 1967 in Arizona, nice to see they put some tunes together after I left the band for Vietnam. Rick Roll, The Glass Sun Band.

This is BAD ASS for 1968. I was 13, so I do not remember this song, but I would have grooved to it had I'd known about it......

@mickeymousebiker1 yep, biker music tends toward nidwaybetween twisted conservatism and redneck stiflement.but these guys are pretty fluid.
