@CurrentGenGaming I would assume you could, but you should probably ask someone who has something similar to your setup to better understand what kind of performance you could achieve

@CurrentGenGaming easily. very easily. anyone with a 1.7 GHZ CPU and a nvidia GTS GPU can run BF3 just fine. its the GTs coupled with -2.0 GHZ CPUs that have to worry.

To find info on this mod just google M11X PINMOD and it should be the first thing you see from notebookreview forums. The title of the thread is "How to pinmod and further overclock the M11x R1 (SLG= Hardmod only)".

@sacmienboi916 I'm sorry, but if you have an R1 there is no way you are getting that kind of performance. I recorded mine with my cell phone. I am overclocked to 2.0ghz with a very healthy overclock on the cpu and there is no way that a stock, I assume yours is stock, could beat mine by that much.
@bimptacular well mines i got a 500 gb hd and 8 gb of ram if thats stock????? u can gain majority of free ram to increase gameplay using gamebooster. without gamebooster i get 35 fps and with gamebooster is 37 to 40ish.
@sacmienboi916 The most powerful M11x R1 comes with a Core 2 Duo SU7300 @ 1.3ghz and can be overclocked in the bios to 1.73 ghz. There is NO M11x R1 that comes with an extreme processor. And I don't have a custom CPU I just pin-modded the PLL to trick it into running at a different frequency.

That is damn impressive, especially at 1080p. Are those overclocks really making such a large difference? I'm getting unplayable fps at 720p. I guess it could be my 2gb of memory,but the game only uses 1.3gb on medium at 1200p on my desktop.
Can you recommend a good oc guide for the m11x? Especially one I might be able to try without pinmodding. Thanks
I would prefer the Asus G74x, it runs better 30-40 fps, 60 fps at low settings then the M11x R3 Max Specs and costs less
