how did you edit this video with one camera man? with a million cameras? doing the run over and over again? or doing a section filming it. Rider stops and walks back up a bit and camera moves down hill?

@MLdaman I used one camera (Canon GL2), and moved down the trail as the rider hiked and re-rode every section of the trail, to link it into one seamless trail.

It is actually a little harder than it looks... Brian rides that trail silky smooth, so it looks easier than it actually is. But it is tons of fun and not too hard to get used to it.

i have had alot of good times on a specialized demo 8 it has all its weight real low its stiff as hell and it corners like its on rails cuz the low center i have ridden a bunch of downhill bikes including rare ones like the balfa NR but this is by far the best DH bike i have ever ridden

nvidia4x4, karpiel are way to specialized, and brooklyns are not good, same as yeti. v10s are decent, but if you want a good all round bike, look into a transition (either a blindside or a bottlerocket) or any of the norco shores

They added the new wooden landing to Hillary's Step last year, but earlier this year they added stairs before the Step and a Right Handed Wallride after it, they cleaned up the spine garden landing, and reinforced the hard left berm, and just before the race they added an alternate line that cuts into Techno Rock next to the big wooden drop.

if anyones goin to mammoth the real trail u all need to hit up is brake through, in the beginning there were still some snow packs left in the middle of the trail but once u get past them it is an AMAZING trail , for riders of all experience

Great video. I love North Star but have never ridden Mammoth, do you think Mammoth is better then North Star? Are there any camps that you know of at either? thanks.

Both resorts have their advantages. But Mammoth locals love visiting Northstar as much as possible, different terrain and styles of terrain... plus Livewire is a wet dream. Mammoth has tons of camps around paid or free. Lots of people camp out on the scenic loop, close to resort and tons of camp spots.

Actually we love riding Northstar. We want to get a video on Livewire as well as Boondocks, Gypsy and maybe Karpiel or Dogbone. Northstar is so fun to ride and we love it there.

I would never speed up shots to make a fast rider look faster. Every shot is at 29.97 fps at 100% speed. But Brian is stoked that his riding looks sped up, he is actually that fast on trail.
