is most part of dirt road hard or soft?? I ride a harley and thinking of making a trip from Key West FL to Argentina to Deadhorse AK in few years and want to plan ahead. Have you or anybody riding motorcycle encountered any tire or chain trouble on the trip? I understand this type of trouble is highly likely in Alaska but on Pan American Hwy?? Thanks in advance for answering!

@wkheathjr Some of the roads we travelled were really terrible and extremely hard work. Some, especially in Bolivia were simply just loads of stones. A few of the bikes had problems with tires but I was one of the lucky ones and only had a leaking tire valve the whole 20 000m trip. Such a trip is extremely hard work but when I look back I just want to do it again! Take your time and do it over a few months and enjoy.
