Many founding fathers who owned slaves released them only a few from the south were pro-slavery. Fact is the majority of them were not pro-slavery. @hackit12 Man made Global warming is a lie. The planet cools and warms in relation to that giant ball of bright light known as the Sun. There is not a single piece of evidence anywhere that shows that mankind has any effect at all on the temperature of the Earth. Not one.

Evidence of the Earth warming or cooling is not evidence of Mans behavior causing changes. The Earth warmed and cooled long before cars or coal plants. Scientists in the 70's warned of anoithe Ice Age. Temperatures went up so they warned us of ice melting.When that data was shown to be tainted they switched to Climate Change so no matter if the temperature went up or down they could say they were right. Global Warming by any other name is still the same- nothing but a scare tactic.

I am also still marveling over the fact that you managed to read all 4 of John Sibley Butler's books' digest them, and form an opinion about Butler's personal philosophy and motivations in the less than 24 hours since I first mentioned him.

You are insane. In August of 1965, there weren't "ten of thousands" of people IN the anti-war movement in the whole fucking country, and they CERTAINLY weren't all in Watts.
It's not verifiable from any reputable source because IT'S NOT TRUE -- and StormFront or the Free Republic are NOT reputable sources.

I have facts and statistics for what I state. You have a clearly subjective book that contains statistics that I have refuted with nationally recognized ones.
If you think that there weren't tens of thousands of anti-war protesters in watts then I suggest you google it, there are many pieces on it. There were also multiple watts riots, not just 65. But for 65 in particular there was thinkquest has a piece on it, latimes does as well.

Like all conservatives, what you do best is to lie and to distort the truth, Herr Standartenfuhrer.
There were no anti-war riots of any significance prior to the time when US ground forces began engaging in combat operations against the Viet Cong in Vietnam. There is no way you can get that timeline to work for you, because the Watts Riot in 1965 occurred prior to such operations.

And they were directly connected to the Black Panthers, as you discovered and as we were discussing. The fact is there were thousands of anti-war protesters in Watts at the time when both the 65 and 68 riots broke out. SOme sources say tens of thousands, its a fact bud.
