And theres alot you could learn from the Japanese governement. See this is how you cover up war crimes. The Japanese government actually destroy the evidence. They dont collect it on camera and then put it on youtube for the whole world to see ;}
@1982mockingbird1982 we tamil don`t care what japanies done to their evidents! but our leader velu coverd up all the crime he done to muslims! entire wold banned our NGO aka ltte as a terrorist # 1 in the world!
annaa..tamilnadu still upholding the bann on ltte.--why? . why australian entertaining king mahinda right now in australian soil if eveidents are truth?..no answer = no balls!
Japan has some very sickening values. I dont care how long ago this happened the fact that the Japanese government is trying so hard to cover up or downplay this issue, and that people in Japan arent protesting, is proof that Japan as a nation has little concern for human rights. At least people in Korea are being taught the truth. I will never forget what happened to these women and I will never see Japan as anything more than a nihilistic, nationalist sespool until it changes its values.
I know that many Korean militarymen fought bravely in order to protect their country in 1950-53. They were not cowards.
Many of them have been educated by Japanese, and in a position to know what Japanese army did to comfort women.
Why such brave worriers did not get angry with it, why they did not stand up against Japanese before 1945 ?
It was because Japanese army never coerced Korean girls to be comfort women. Everybody knew that comfort women were prostitutes just worked for money !
On 06 December 2006, Proffessor Ahn Byng Jik answered to the interview by MBC news in Korea.
He told that "There is no evidence that comfort women were coerced Japanese official. In the other hand, 50% of owners and managers of comfort stations were Korean guys. There are many prostitutes in Korea as of toaday but all of them were not coerced. "
@2008venom How can we trust anything the Japanese historians, history books and accounts of the war tell us? Didnt Japan try to destroy any evidence of war crimes after the war? These claims arent just coming from Korea, women in China and other parts of Asia have come forward. And believe any information that comes out of Japan hard to believe because I dont think Japan has the same human rights culture that I see here in the West. I only see nationalism in Japan. But am I wrong?
Japan is very bureaucratic society. Every bureaucrats must protect themselves, by keeping important documents, such as order, memorundam, notice, permission, and etc. Even the government orderd, it was impossible to destroy those documents 100%.
@2008venom Is that supposed to be some kind of excuse? Either way it only sheds more doubt on any claims coming out of Japan. Thats why as a rule we dont trust anything the accused paty's says especially when they try to hide the evidence.
And do not mix different issues. Korea was a part of Japan and Korean people had Japanese nationality in those days.
It was true that there were some war crimes like as the case in Java (Jan Ruff O'hern). But Korean comfort women was domestic issue of Japan, and it was not a war crime.
It was true that bad gangsters cheated young women and sold them to brothels. But it was also fact that Japanese police and military tried their effort to protect those pitty women.
@2008venom Im pretty sure the system made a clear distinction between Korean and Japanese women. The Japanese women were actually proffesionals whereas the Korean women were very rarely actual prostitutes and its alleged that many, if not most of them may have been forced.
Id like to believe what youve said is true. Can you refer me to the source of this information?
In Japan of 1930's, also many Japanese teenager girls had to become prostitutes. Some of them went to the battlefield as comfort women. Do you call them as "professionals"? There was no distinction between Korean and Japanese. There was only poor and rich.
As of today, many young Korean girls have to become prostitutes because of poverty and go to USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Europe and etc. Don't you call them "professionals"?
Japanese girls were prostitutes. But Japanese kidnapped and used as sex slaves more than 200,000 Asian & European girls from China, Korea, Taiwan, Filippines, Australia, Netherlands and etc...
Search related videos and listen to the survivors. Oh you already know it cuz you spammed ALL comfort women videos.lol
Are any of these boys Japanese? That would be so awesome.
Regardless these youth are amazing. Its so encouraging to see people in Asia work to redeem the injustices and atrocities of the past.

Japanese officials never kidnapped Korean girls. Rather Japanese police tried to save them from bad gangs.
Dong-Ah Ilbo, newspaper in Korea dated Aug. 30, 1939.
"Unscrupulous Brokers Run Rampant - Abduction of Rural Women and Girls"
"More than 100 Women Victimized - Pusan Police Officers Dash Off to Mukden"
"PUSAN - Unscrupulous brokers have been conspiring to abduct women from poor families by promising them generous rewards in Manchuria..."
