@TheColourOfTruth hi, I used a 12a front cover and made up some extensions to the mx5 front subframe for a 12a engine mount to sit on. Because of being RHD the room for the exhaust was very tight and the subframe needed lots of cutting and re-welding. I did use the mx5 tail housing on the rx7 gearbox with 1.8 mx5 diff, prop and drive shafts. I did a full write up on the mx5nutz forum. Search for user Steve-a
hey mate, i just stumbled across your video and i'm so relieved to finally see a RHD with a 13b conversion! i wonder if u could assist me as i want to do this conversion. could u please tell me how you mounted the engine? did u use the MX5 tailhousing on the RX7 gearbox, and what diff did you run? also, what did you do about the tailshaft? i'd really appreciate the feedback. thanks
That sounds lovely! always wanted a 13b in my roadster :( but will have to stick to turbo power for now :) how much has the conversion cost you? if you dont mind me asking?
