HungryNomadicLion, if I'm understanding you correctly, the uphill part is known as The Snake and the downhill part is the Roller Coaster, which is shown here. The Snake is fun, and really not too difficult of an uphill area once you are used to it.
There is a really hilly, but fun trail at Stoney Creek Metropark you should check out if you haven't already. If you start at trailhead B and ride until you come one of the big clearings, you will see a bench by a park map. The start of the trail is sort of behind the bench and map, if I remember correctly.
Soon as I get a camcorder I am going to mount it on my bike and go to Stoney Creek to get some footage like yours. I've been wanting to do this for a while.

MMBA's recent additions to that area are killer. Still very loose and fun. Makes for fun climbs and descents.
