try flying at wittering... theyre a harrier base so they got launch pads there... and a ski jump too to simulate british style carrier launches. That was a shock first time i went there with my CCF sqn :)

The Harrier Jumpjets can be found on the Flightsim website. Type ukmgr13.zip in the search field. RAF Scampton is found in a flightsim expansion pack, "British Airports" Volume 1 of 6 by Justflight. check out their website via Google.

Unfortunately Youtube does not permit sending full URL`s. Just type flightsim into your google search field. That should find the main website. If you then copy and paste

ukmgr13.zip

into the file search field, that wilopen the download file for the Harrier.

for the other website you will have to type

Justflight into your Google search.

anyways, i just got the FSX, dont buy it, it sucks, unless you still have FS1998, dont buy it! Im very upset with FSX, plus, you need something like a supercomputer to run it.......

How do you take-off verticly?

I can only take off like a normal aircraft.

Try the F6 and F7 keys or which ever keys you have set to operate your aircraft flaps.

F7 key, Flaps fully extended will ajust the thrust accordingly then full throttle should get you airborne vertically.
