In my opinion I think Gaito killed Sara, 1st of all he could have lived with Kaito but he was to stubborn with his I am king of the sea it would be unacceptable if i left it.
Second Sara would still be a couple with Tarou..If (in the manga) the servant didn't tell Tarou not to see her leaving her heartbroken.
