I have updated this a few times since this build.. I am in the process of making another one for somebody else with even bigger sound system.. If only the person who wrote this would update Partytime Jukebox!!!
You just arrange a main folder called mp3.. sub folders I arranged folders A-Z then dump each folder in the corresponding letter.. this program will alphabetize depending on the directory name eg/ ACDC - Back in Black will be under A.
Winamp builds a list of albums into 1 big playlist in the background that it uses to access instantly.. Initially it takes about 2-3 mins to build my list of 1600+ albums. But once it's loaded everything selected is instantaneous to play.
Yes.. I currently have 1800+ albums and it is the only downside of this software.. Had to build a playlist when it first starts up. You can build up bustom playlists but It still has to load the playlist at the start. The rest is instantaneous..

Does it need to load the albums every time it starts? That would take way too long with my collection.
