@leodoggy97 -=- its only because in this ERA a FOUL now is considered shoulder bumps, skin contact, and foul language ...how can you protect your house without going HARD tho .. smh
@JimenezLeon Noo, this is when basketball was good, less whining and complaining and go play defense and offense and work as a team and quit being ball hogs as they have them today....Kobe,Lebron and etc. There both good players, but Lebron will never win a title and Kobe is so cocky and is so concieted and thinks he is the best ball playe rin NBA history, lol that's hilarious comparing Kobe to Jordan, that is a funnk joke to me. :)
Even though they only score like 6 combined points in first 5 minutes of the quarter, the game was still amazing and interesting to watch; the intensity was just amazing in the 90's
you're rite about everything except the 98 series not being as good, it was just as good both probably the best finals series ever with the 84 and 85 and 87 finals in there aswell. The teams were both as good in 98 and the jazz were better
Eh, 98 was good, but there was the huge blowout in Game 3 which made it less competitive.
Also, there really wasn't much of a chance for Utah to win. They won Game 1, but when they fell behind 3-1, it really hurt their chances. In 97, the series was tied at 2 before the flu game. It was anyone's series at that point.
how about these odds, the bulls never lost 3 in a row with michael starting in their 91 championship run. michael would have been fine with those odds
Up until 2004 Phil Jackson never lost a Finals series.
Yet, he lost that year.
Michael also never faced an opponent twice in the Finals, nor did he see a game 7, winner takes all scenario on the other team's home court; yet with two more points, in a game where Utah literally outscored Chi by five while still "losing", that's exactly what Jordan would have faced in 98.
In other words, jackass, new territory, completely. Not something friendly, nor experienced before in his career.
so because michael never experienced a game 7 on the road in the finals means he couldn't have won it?? your seriously bitter for even bringing this up and your argument is worthless. i'll still take a tired banged up bulls with michael over malone (who didn't show up in the 98 finals until game 5, missed 2 free throws in game one of this series) and the jazz but maybe i'm just biased? and if it makes you feel better yes i admit the jazzed got hosed on the eisley shot
"so because michael never experienced a game 7 on the road in the finals means he couldn't have won it??"
Where'd I say that? You're the one dealing in absolutes, pretending as if Chi and Mike were invincible.
I'm saying that this was a really tight series, just like 97, and that a game 7 in Utah could not be seen as a sure-thing for Chicago.
Further, as far as being hosed, the Eisley shot isn't the half of it. Chicago employed an illegal zone throughout the 98 Finals, but the refs ignored it
@sunshinebutmorerain. First of all Chicago maybe got away wth illegal Defense once or twice throughout the whole series as did Utah. Lets not forget the refs allowing Malone to take 10 freakin steps all the time and no travel call, and the BS touch fouls they called on Rodman (Rodman got picked on by the refs in those series). And if anyone says MJ pushed off oN russell on that last shot then wow go watch home ec crap if that constitutes as a foul to you.
THE BEST GAME EVER!!!

Really? Utah was a push-off away from a game 7 on their home court.
You mean to tell me Chi liked those odds?

point is how can you ever count michael out? time and again he proved you absolutely can't

"point is how can you ever count michael out?"
Learn how to read. Your posts read like moronic player-worship.
Saying that Utah was a really tough opponent and Chicago didn't want a game 7 doesn't mean I'm counting anyone out under such a scenario.
Again, that's you in regards to Utah.
Jordan himself called Utah a great team, and said that Chi was lucky to beat them twice.
This was while he was slagging off on nearly every other opponent he ever faced, BTW -- i.e. the HOF induction.

@JZ2001JC Are you kidding me? Stern's boys let Rodman get away with murder in both series.

@sunshinebutmorerain Other than New York or Indiana, Jordan was pretty good at making sure the series never got to a game 7 since 1990.

@sunshinebutmorerain you're right, he didn't. because he was so fucking good that it never got to that point. go fuck yourself dude. youre a joke
