I have a problem when I try to boot it from the CD.I loads but then it gives me something that says localhost login.what shoud I do?plz tell me

Just type in guest for the username, and guest for the password.

I don;t know by hackers if u mean a distribution of linux but u can start at w.w.w.linux.o.r.g , most distributions available with links and descriptions.( youtube won't allow links ).

have you seen the movie "Hackers" ? it has some pretty cool animations; every directory is built as a skyscraper and such...

yes i have (very nice movie btw ) and remembered what u mean. i have no idea if a team is working on a 3D desktop with such graphics , but if they r , they have 1 more user :D

yeah, wouldn't it be cool if your desktop could be in actual 3D? unlike Vista, which is crap; the shell is new, if that's all they can come up with, then I don't wanna use windows anymore...

my thoughts exactly. i use windows for C++ builder lately. In linux u have 3D desktop (well not to that extent ) but work is in progress ( compiz-fusion ). And does not require the latest hardware to run a simple fade-out effect. Yes, vista suck.

Looks interesting ,though my time is almost non existing since i am in the army now ( not by choice ) and will be for the next 9 months. So i hope to give it a try in the near future .Thnx for the suggestion. :D

whats ur pc specs?

Athlon XP 2000+ ( 1.6 Ghz) 1 Gig 333Mhz and a radeon 9800 pro. This is only a test video to see the quality on the site. I' ll make another one on my laptop ( core 2 duo 1,6 Ghz , 1 Gig ram and 7300 go ). I found it the easiest and most stable distro , best for begginers like me :D

ya im a beginner too..im currently using ubuntu but il switch to pclinuxos..my specs are Sempron64 2800+(1.6 Ghz) 512mb 400mhz and Radeon X700..but when i record my desktop it kinda lags..what recording software did you use?

I had the same problem. Then i stambled on instambul .The best so far for me. Its in the repositories.
