I miss this show. I was a kid when reruns of this were shown after it ended it 1995. I remember this being a thing I watched with my parents every afternoon and back then, there was not much technology yet, and simple times like those made me happy. I don't really remember much of it, just that I really loved the show before. I even forgot the title but vaguely remember a crystal. :) When I read 'The Crystal Maze' somewhere, it all came back. I'm rewatching a bunch of this stuff now. :)

Used to love this show. Was only 2 in 93 but i remember watching Richard on the crystal maze quite vividly. Although i couldn't really understand at that age what was going on , i still found it fascinating. Watched it a lot when i was growing up and even watch the re-runs whenever i see them advertised. My friend had a great idea to bring this back, he said they should have the same maze but in a abandoned state, malfunctions causing challenges, Aztec in ruins, like it has been left for a decade, basically to find the crystals that have been lost all those years. I thought that would of been a brilliant twist on a new series yet a nice tribute to the original.

Yeah! Richard O Brien totally made that so great to watch. And the challenges completely varied in difficulty; they weren't all easy. And that's not really what the crystal maze is all about, it's just entertainment. and it's not aimed to get only strongmen, whizzes, sharpshooters or detectives to apply. It was meant for normal people. And obviously they also ranged in capability. Just check out the one "Funniest Crystal Maze game" and that's exactly what it was all about lol.
