I was there for both nights in Miami, it was an experience that no other concert for any other entertainer has equaled it yet.
Oh yes, my bag, except for the three previous nights I saw the Victory tour the week end before, for all three nights in Jacksonville. Oh yea, my bag again, and except for when I saw the Bad tour in 88' for two nights at Madison Square Garden:-)
Yea I'm bragging. The Brothers all 6 together was the bomb!
@wegotforever Seen Victory in Phila in 84 and also BAD at MSG in 1988. You have every reason to brag. Michael was the bomb back in the day, no other like him. There NEVER will be again.
The Best DVD of MJ evre-Covers performances from age 8 a the way through the Victory Tour-a collectors item (limited edition) you will be AMAZED and (very Happy)to have this(sold on ebay at $300 starting bid (we are selling for $24!!! via Paypal) once sold out will not re-publish)Get your copy Now! send payment via paypal to: thedailynews(at)yahoo(dot)com then send your mailing address to same address.
Read the book The Magic,The Madness,The Whole Story by J.R.Taraborrelli...there you will read about this tour- and it was`nt Michaels choice,if you can belive all thats written about him...however I dont think this book is the worst to read....Taraborrelli apparently followed MJ and his career for over 3 decades
He'd broken his ankle just before they were to start. He was there for each one and came out on stage at the end I think. I know he was up on stage for the concert by the end of the tour though.
Thanks for uploading :) This is great. Michael was in great voice in the 80s and conveyed a feeling of joy when he sang. I think he enjoyed himself on stage far more then cause he really worked that puppy. LOL
Michael is absolutely TURBO in this concert. You just can't stop him. He's an atomic bomb of dance. I love seeing him take those flowers from the audience and jump afterwards.
I was in that concert and it was great the energy was unbelieveable he was awsome thanks for this video it brings me back to how much I loved him and still do
@Brilliantbeing why did he ever have to replace his bros w/ unknown dancers was it an "Independance thing" family fighting? or what i just never got that...
@MOSKII58 he wanted to be solo, no family involved at all. He didn't exactly replace his brothers, but he wasn't going to perform with them again. Michael wanted to be completely done as a group.
Big difference in tempo with studio versions - wonder why MJ chose to speed it up live.

He was at his best in 1987, after that he slowly got worse. The nose jobs really started to affect his live performances.

i think this is the 1st time that ive ever seen MJ perform winded and off tempo :) lol. i still love him regardless :)
love5959 2 years ago
That is because the sound was not recorded in line, bu from an external mic. U just rear it delayed, alhtough it wasn't.
He surely wasn't out of tempo. Chill out.
TarkusDF 2 years ago
Thats because he lip synced a lot of his later performances so he could dance. No performer is perfect!

Isn't it refreshing to see the Jackson brothers rather than those flaky dancers Michael used in recent years?

@Brilliantbeing Got that right! The "Solid Gold Dancers" thing has gotten real old in R&B...it's a shame where the term "song and dance" has gone to.
