not anymore the most beautiful place in goa I have left late seventies!there were no constructions at all..when people living around the sweet lake took care that nothing could be seen from the beach..us&Nature!there was a beautiful bamyan tree at the top of the hill treated with maximum respect..hope still gets love as deserved!love Arambol so much I spent really beautiful times there it hurts to see how normally turist and plastic has became!whenarewegoingtostophurtingsomuchourplanet?OmShanti
these tourist..messin up my Wonderful goa and turnin it into sumthing its not .... look at this vid..perfect example....crowded with tourists n ....NO PLACE FOR LOCALS! :-(
When I see this, I know it has been the right decision not to go back there, a few years ago it was a paradise fishing village. I'm so glad I have experienced this in the 90es!!!!!
Yes, I feel heatrbroken too. I was there in 1999 and it was really beautiful. Not built up at all. Just a few shacks and old hippies. No raves, no fuss. When did you go, and what are your memories of it? Please let me know. Thanks.
How can anyone who has been to Arambol mistake the rocks at the edge of the beach?Looking that way in Palolem, you would see the small island. But how many new buildings on the way to the lakeside Oo. Now I remember why I left Arambol after 9 1/2 years. It's breaking my heart.
last time i ve been there they´ve planed to build a way to sweet lake. you won´t believe how many people there have been already on weekends without that way...
