I have a 2004 Camry, I had the same noise, I thought it was the serpentine belt as well took it to the dealer it was the water pump making all the noise. Luckily it was still under the 100,000 mile Certified warranty so I only had to pay a 50.00 deductible.
@iambrownbear my dad got that warranty from a dealership when he traded two cars for a used 2007 SE camry and the stupid dealership didnt tell us that it had a bad CV joint it would make a clicking noise when turned and they kept saying they didnt have time to look at that they decided they had time after the warranty ran out he had to call some people but they fixed under the 50.00 deductible and for a day and half while they fixed he had a blue 2011 LE Camry l4 which by the way was nice
if it is a squeak sound our 04 done that we had the serpentine replaced and it quit we dont have that car either we have an 2007 camry
