In 2010 they discontinued the two natural finish models and replaced them with high-gloss finishes of various colors. Now, we have the 2011 "Riot Deluxe" that only comes in a 4 or 5 string model with a cheaper string-thru only bridge, cheaper pickups and no longer has a neck-thru body with two finishes: solid black or "metallic" (glittery) blue.
Very true, I got my 6 string for around 650 after some mix ups with cases and rebates. Was paying 800 which is still a killer deal compared to the list of 1500.
it has neck dive with a 1400$ price tag next to it? jesus companies really need to sort themselves out and i mean all companies. As stuff gets more complex it gets worse and theyre spending money on looks rather than functionality!You could compare it to films as all new ones are seemingly instantly crap and not like they used to be! sorry for making this reply some massive rant-like thing
