I agree this game is far from perfect no doubt, Im a fan of the 1st & hated the 2nd...Im a gnasher user till the day I stop playing gears. Hey i don't see how Gears of War 3 is broke, yes the sawnoff is extremely annoying but it isn't a game breaker and this time around you can actually kill people with your assault rifle and you can make people go boom with your gnasher, it is an awesome game.

Fuck sake, i've been a hardcore gears fan since 2006 and there is nothing wrong about the sawed-off... Let's think about its logically twin barrels firing at the same time of course there will be a bigger spread and damage but its sawed-off so its decreased of its range; hence the name. the gnasher has 8 shells, 1 second reloading time and the many times i've lost by gnasher at medium range fight whist i was using a lancer so it's not the sawed-off's range that needs decreasing the gnasher does.

Dude ive been sayin the same dam thing. the sawed off is the Worst weapon Design ever created in any game i've ever played period. I'm a gears 2 head 500 rank in the world in Guardian on gears 2. I delt with the laggy connections and the bull ish host and fags that 2pieced. But gears 3 i cant get use to it because its not ocmpetitive at all. The Trash that run around with the sawed off because their bad at the game but think their good is crazy. I actually stopped playin Gears 3 because of it.

As much as I want a liquid green skin, I have to disagree that Gears 3 is broken.

Yes, the Retro Lancer and Sawed-Off are new, and devastating when used in the right environment, but they aren't "broken". I'm not saying they don't need tweaking either, but "broken" is a strong word to use for guns that have only been on the scene less than a month. Try using a Retro from ten feet or a Sawed-Off from two, see how that works out.

This isn't Gnashers of War 2 anymore, and hell am I glad.
