However, some of the comments on this thread are quite sad to read: Firstly anyone who wants to slate ballroom dancers as 'geeky' or 'gay' should try it themselves... it takes lots of skill/strength

Secondly I am shocked at general b****iness shown especially by younger dancers. You are all great to be dancing at open level, but obviously results will be different on different days with different judges.... its the nature of it!

I didnt start dancing seriously until I was 18 and left home - and its definitely one of my biggest regrets! Guys, your parents and coaches are giving you some amazing oportunities- so make the most of them, enjoy dancing and please please be nice to each other!!!!

why don't you all get a life - josh and kim won fair and square on the day. luke is a very good dancer what let him down was having a partner like charlotte - she was slated by the judges (and rightly so) but that was not seen when the prog was televised. luke and charlotte now dance with new partners, luke is doing extremely well charlotte is not!!!! joshua is neither geeky nor gay its a shame that you have decided to judge him without knowing him (as 1 do) - what a pathetic bunch you are!

Yes, I thought they were a bit freaky. For a start the girl had a fixed smile on her face, she never showed any other facial expression. I know you are meant to smile but, wired?

Secondly, it LOOKED like the boy was doing all of the work, because I know that they were both dancing but the girls upper body was just moved by the boys arms. I don't think the girl was very good.

Can i just say, that Luke and Charlotte split up and he got a new partner. At the recent british championships open to the world, he and his new partner won 4 out of 5 events. And your trying to say that was the right result. Kim and Josh are amazing however at the end of the day Luke is better! And Chloe is a british champion as i know her so i don't know what you know about dancing!!
