  • Thnak god the castle law today right H4T? now we can drop em in the home

    OHIO rules

  • stressfull situation....cant be a hothead today

  • Thanks for the video, man. This is really great.

  • Excellent Video by the way, and even better Judgement. I would be reluctant to shoot someone over property, but some lean on the case an point that "you dont ever want to see that person in a confrontation again" Or "do you want it to happen to the next person"...I agree with you, if the discrepancy is diffused, let it go and be thankful you have the right to bare arms! God bless America! Again, excellent Video!

  • From what I learned from my CHL class as well as other sources (in my area, that being Texas) is once someone is in your home, you have the right to shoot them any which way you want. Yes, shooting someone in the back may be harder to deal with if it goes as far as court but, I also learned that someone fleeing your home with stolen goods can be chased and shot in the back outside of the home in order to obtain the items. Very tough to keep up with the laws but this is what I have been told!

  • YouTub is good to share ideas isn't it?

  • Thanks for the story i learned alot from it and found out a few things i would've never thought of myself. Awesome job in taking care of the situation and keeping a cool head. Looking to get my carry license in 7 months when I'm of legal age. Will keep this story in mind at all times. Thanks again man!

  • THANKS FOR THE STORY , WOW I HAVE SAME HAIR STYLE AND SAME LENGTH BEARD

  • Lots of good comments about situations where you may have to shoot. What if you were in your BMW and he started smashing your car up with the bat? I mean, you personally are not threatened and I don't think that shooting someone to protect your property would hold up in court either. I'd probably just run over him though... heh.

  • what if hes coming toward you but walking backwards

  • @javiermendoza730 LOL....smartass...

  • @javiermendoza730 im just joking buddy, i love your videos. im glad didnt get hurt. keep up the good work.

  • @javiermendoza730 The universe divides itself by zero and the universe becomes no more.

  • At around 4:40 you start talking about how you should never shoot someone in the back. I would disagree. That man could have stumbled because he was drunk and been turning around to try and pull a mexican style carry gun from his waist to turn around and fire with without you seeing him drawing it. You just never know.

  • Nice job bud, glad you're a responsible gun owner and glad that you posted this video.

  • Ya going home for a bit was good plan. My only close call also ended with no shots fired and I was quite shaken afterwords. I can say I will take a no shots fired bg run off by gun any day over having to take a life. Good control assessing the situation and keeping your finger where it belongs.

  • I served on a jury in Cali at the trial of a man who shot a burglar. The DA was going for 2nd degree murder because of good evidence the guy had tried to flee and was shot in the back. No room for the details but the State was damn good. I was voting guilty anyway. The jury members: 5 women: 1 Black, 3 Hispanic, 1 Asian 3 Hispanic men, 4 White (me). The burglar was a Mexican American... this could get ugly. First vote: 12 not guilty, we all just kinda nodded - a silent cabal and waited an hour.

  • This makes me want a dashcam in my car. If ppl can afford one, do so the tape doesn't lie and your word vs his when it comes to a gun being drawn is not good for you. Luckily you called first and did everything EXACTLY right. My 2 questions

If you are in a state w/o a stand your ground law would you be required to throw it in reverse?

If the guy had pulled out a rifle instead would you have given him the luxury of stepping towards you ASSUMING he wasn't taking immediate aim? Great vid btw

  • Nice video man. Great advice as well . Why cant you shoot someone in the back if they are in your home ?

  • Must watch video. Always cover your ass.

  • if someone is in your house stealing your items, you come from behind them is that the same princeable? is this a law? or just a rule, great vid

  • @timberland1108 Well you don't want to shoot to protect property, I would hold him at bay until the police get there.

  • @humans4targets2 very true, shooting should be the last thing you do, and only if its needed. you handled this situation very well.

  • @timberland1108 depends on the state most states if he's in your home than he is now a target make sure you kill em though (I was told this by a local police officer) because they can come back and sue you in court and you could be held liable for hospital bills and pain and suffering (stupidest thing I've ever heard) ..... voice of experience

  • @hutton1415 thanks for the info.

  • @timberland1108 If you come from behind it could be considered murder because he could be fleeing

  • Well his back was to me!

  • Pulling a gun in self defense is not a prob.

Calling the police and telling them about it can be a "screwing urself in the ass" in some states. Some areas will find every reason to arrest, fine gun owners. Just so u know. This is not good advice in all areas.

  • Glad that you shared your experience with us man...I think you schooled me in how to handle a similar situation. Just a couple days ago a buddy of mine was sitting in his car near a hot dog stand eatin a hot dog when some jackass put his hand through the window and went for my buddy's throat...My buddy got out and beat the guy to a frazzle....if it was me that guy would have eaten lead no questions asked...but then there would be this long drawn out process.

  • wtg dude!

  • Excellent advice, great videos mate. You did exactly as advised in CCW classes or at least the ones that count! I'm a British ex forces guy now living in the US and a gun owner. I wish all the people who 'carry' were as level headed as you. Nicely done mate. I'm learning a lot about the use or restraint of using weapons in a non military environment. Great job, thanks.

  • @telmac899 Thanks and thanks for watching.. Welcome to the U.S.!

  • @humans4targets2 Cheers mate,by the way, I also like you're views on why you think it's all going down the pan. Same in the UK. Disrepectful kids, morons as parents (when they are around) and very VERY lenient sentences for scumbags...one day we'll all wake up and say, that's it, we've had enough and start stringing the bastards up again. For example, it works in Singapore, safe to be on the streets, well mannered kids, polite adults because they still flog the buggers if they get out of line!

  • @telmac899 Thank you for that message

  • Learning a lot from your VIDS. Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

  • dude i live in mexico where if you shoot or kill somebody you are fucked strait out no matter if he has a knife to your familys neck or a gun in your face you jurt a robber or a homeinvador you are fucked it is retarted

  • You acted in the right way. I live in the UK, and as you know with our firearms laws carrying a pistol is impossible without being a criminal straight out. And if you do use the guns you have legally in your home, you'd better have a bloody good reason.

  • Good job taking action right away, you may have heard Israel's story about the stabbing in the bronx where the guy just stood there and let the cab driver stab him, it's a shame that modern life has disabled fight or flight for so many people. Anyway thanks for sharing, videos like these remind me that a handgun is worth much more than the money:)

  • people are SO rude ! glad you lived to tell your tale Mr. 4targets

  • Honestly if everyone in all 50 states was able to carry a gun we would have no need for police. Seriously Think about this ok you have a gun someone else like a neighbor has a gun I don't think people would be arguing anymore due to the FACT there would be alot of respect or fear that you could lose your life so at that point human survival instinct kicks in get it? In other words full time Marshall Law Very good idea!

  • Great story bro. I highly respect the way you handled that situation. All these folks that say you shoulda done this or that don't have a clue man. No one really ever knows how they will react to a situation like this until it happens. You were doing the best thing you could to be ready for a situation like that... you were carrying.

  • You said he pulled out of a driveway, why didn't you jusr report his home address?

  • From a retired Officer, always be the one to make the 911 call.. Nice Work.. Sounds like you made Grizzly Adams crap himself..

  • did they find the guy?

  • @killerbob02 They never called me so I dont think they did.

  • @humans4targets2 oh ok :( thanks for answering!!!

  • I my opinion the most important reason to call the cops is that they know about a potentially dangerous individual. Not so much to make sure you will not be in any legal trouble when the guy would call the cops on you. Anyway you handled that in the best way possible.

  • @Magnum4554 lolol good one!

  • About not shooting in the back. Are you in a state East of the Mississippi? I believe it is called a duty to retreat. But here in the West we have a concept call "king of the castle" and we can defend... I may need more research. But isn't it stupid... Someone is in your house. Robbing your or for no good reason. If an intruder is in one's house a persons should be able to shoot them no matter what. I don't understand these "revised" and in my opinion stupid laws.

  • so did the police find the guy?

  • It sounds like you really did the right thing.

  • It is always good to call the police and report it. When I shoot out at a way off location, I always check with the police first and they will come out and tell me ya...na. And, I can shoot all I want--but I called first.

  • It is always good to call the lolice and report it. When I shoot out at a way off location, I always check with the police first and they will come out and tell me ya...na. And, I can shoot all I want--but I called first.

  • Thanks for sharing man, and I guess you never know who is mad at the world. You did what you trained to do and the pistol saved your life, maybe, without firing a shot. How could he get you in trouble?

  • I'm sorry that happed to you and I am glad you are ok. If I could just add my opinion, personally, I would wait until I had a lawyer before I ever called or talked to the cops. Yes the cops might get the wrong story first and they might even arrest and charge you, but the 5th protects you from saying anything at all and a lawyer can help you tell your story without comprimising yourself. If you can't afford one or you don't feel that you need one, I wouldn't say anything at all. -My $0.02

  • Well, like the old saying goes, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

  • Great video! I really enjoy the way you told the story! Keep posting interesting videos man.

  • Good story and a good way to prepare me for concealed carry situations.

  • This is a very nice video. Nice story.

  • I like the videos man, learning alot about guns and so forth. I was wondering is it illegal if you're in this situation and you don't have a gun, so your only defensive choice is your car, like could you move your car forward enough to scare someone off?

  • @DeliciousNasty Yeah, sure, if that is what you have to do to stop the threat. Thanks for watching bro!

  • Sweet video :)

  • Did they ever find him?

  • Damn your pretty smart.

  • I Talked to the Police Chief the next day , who is a friend of mine. I ask him why two young able bodied men would attack a Disabled Veteran on Memorial day. I did not know these guys and had done nothing to them. He said they were just crazy and drunk and also probably doped up, that also they had long criminal records. That I should watch my back. Well I might be old and disabled now, but have yrs of training under my belt . As a sniper I have lived my life with situation awareness .

  • tried to make it look like I was causing the problem . My wife came out of the house and we went home.I did not call the police then , but should have. I was so shaken by the incident I did not think of it. All I could think about was how close I came to killing those guys. I did every thing right except call the police after. I have had yrs of training with weapons and how to kill some one. This still scared me, because I am 53 now and not very stable on my feet. Lucky I did had my weapon .

  • I was at a family funtion on private property , when two friends of a family member threatened my life . I was not bothering any one, sitting at a picnic table .These two crack heads came over to me and tried to pick a fight .They then told me they have a gun and were going to kill me. First of all I am disabled and walk with a cane. I stood up , put some distance between me and them. Moved my shirt ,placed my hand on my weapon and told them I will defend my self. They backed off and ...

  • Hello , I commend ur actions. Some say u could back up and get out of there, but I have been in a similar type incident. Things happen so fast some times you don't have time to think about that or u just don't have time to do it. I am a retired disabled Veteran . U.S. Army SF Sniper with 21 yrs of training under my belt . I have carried a gun all my life and have a license to do so. This past Memorial day my life was threatened and I had to defend my self from two crack head drunks . So I know.

  • Thanks. I probably would have reacted the same way you did. Your actual experience allowed me to better prepare for the situation if it ever came up in my life. So thanks for the practice.

  • @barney594 No problem

  • hey man, im from Australia, and were not allowed to carry guns at all, only for target practice, so that same senario in Australia would end a differnt way, well done my friend, u did good, i used to be a guard here and carry a G17L, u did good, i am proud of you, job well done, next time just shoot him, sounds like the Police have your back there, here in OZ no one has ya back...

  • Don't take this the wrong way, why didn't you put it in reverse and back up? I mean you did say that at first you didn't know what happened so you stood there, but when he came out with a bat, you could've put it in reverse I always carry my Glock 19 with me except on federal buildings etc. Hopefully I never have to use it on anybody. If someone goes back in there car and starts digging? Get the hell out of there. That is what I would do. Thank God that it was a bat rather than a firearm.

  • When I was 17 I was DJing at a party, I later found out the specifics, but I'm DJing all the sudden the lights come on. Now I'm on a stage in a little community type center so I look down and see this dude bashing this guys head in with an aluminum bat. I later found out that it was because the kid was dancing with his woman. The kid layed there bleeding through his ears, nose, & mouth, twitching. He never made it. I've seen some stuff & I agree. I'm alive today because of defensive thinking...

  • Did you even manage to find out why that guy did that, or what happened to him? It sounds like he didn't care about his personal appearance, and you say that he had an old pick up truck. You think he could've been mentally ill, or a drug addict?

  • This is scary. I hope this never ever happens to me. I disagree, however, with calling the police. I really have little trust in them and don't want to give them a reason to accuse me.

  • I'd like to point out that once the Threat returned to his truck and was "digging" around for something..he would of never of made it that close to me with the bat. He would of turned from his drivers door with his weapon and i would have been set already..if he had been digging for a firearm you might not be around making youtube videos man. he was "digging" for a reason and he proved it. just so happens it was a bat & not a gun.

  • Even if you're not the "1st caller". Being the "2nd caller" still shows you have nothing to hide and are responsible. Either way, once your safe, stop, compose yourself & make the call. I agree with your message, it's the right thing to do. It was a crime [no matter the extent] in progress either way. Its people that brandish weapons without cause-to intimidate that give legal CCW holders a bad rap. sounds like you did the responsible thing.

  • @rstawarz111 Thanks man

  • Thank you for sharing your personal life threatening experience. It's good to know valuale information like this. God forbid if I come across a situation where I have to draw my sidearm to protect my-self and the criminal runs off then 30 minutes later I'm being arrested. Wise decision on your part and thank you again. If it every happens to me i'll be caling the poice. Better to be safe than sorry. Awesome job on the videos.

  • I respect your decision to draw your firearm on him, because I would have done the same thing except my dominate arm is right so I would have open my door use it as a shield while pointing my gun at him. I would have definitely called the cops too so I would have the upper hand if the other guy called too.

  • All these ccp laws, try Pennsylvania.I feel like moning to Phoenix.Anyway you did the right thing....but it was split second..

  • i love all the liberals telling us how this really might have been a good guy who wanted to show you his new baseball bat in the middle of the road while swearing at you.. seriously, all the sane people i know dont do that.. good job man you did the right thing

  • Thanks for the story. good job for doing what you did

  • Thanks man......You are good....

  • Thanks for sharing your story.

  • I had something pretty much the same happen to me at night driving home from work. except this guy saw my laser before he saw the gun (it was dark). It can really mess with you. well handled sir.

  • i would of hit him with my car LOL.

  • @tictac4949 one more reason why guns are safer than cars ;)

  • @t0fast lol

  • i think i would have lost my temper

  • @frodo70444 lol I tried not to....

  • Intense, just intense

  • I have a family relative that went thru the exact same thing. The story was almost identical and he called actually called the police while the guy was chasing him but at the end they still took the gun away from him. I suspect this was because he was hispanic and the guy chasing him was a middle aged caucasian. That sucks huh.I still think you did good by pulling the gun out to defend yourself!!!

  • you,re right about calling first but also think about this, if you call first not only are you helping youself but by reporting the guy who could be doped, drunk or just a smart ass out of control, you could be saveing someone elses life as well buy getting him off the road.

  • Dude I'm not form USA but i think your state has a good solution in its self defense laws. I meen...at my country people have the right to defend them selves with nothing worse than the weapon they are threatened with....If they pull a knife on you, nothing more than a knife. Its f***ed up. Really good video, I really think someone should have said those things!

  • You did everything right. You should say you were in fear for your life, and you will sign a complaint. I'm a member of USCCA (United States Concealed Carry

association. You did everything they suggest in a situation like that. Good Job!

  • thank you for your tips man,i,m glad you have a gun on you man.yes i agree with you .glad you called the police that will protect you from accusations.i just got gun permit last week.... i refuse to be a victim of bad people.... i respect you bro.

  • Awesome second amendment story, sorry you had to go through that, but you did everything right. Respect, and thanks for the advice.

  • I think you did the right thing

  • a police chief is not a lawyer and neither am I, but if you had shot that guy, you'd be in a 6x8 jail cell right now for manslaughter. by you shooting him inside your car didn't justify the use of lethal force. from what you described, you had the opportunity to put your car in reverse and flee. unless u were cornered in some alley with no escape, killing this guy in your situation would not have been necessary.

  • Wow. Thanks for posting these videos. Good advice. I had the same question from police in a similar situation when a pair of young toughs attempted to rob my wife and me at gunpoint. "Why didn't you shoot (2) them?" ( they pulled their gun away and ran off).

  • Great job man. This is exactly the type of incident the American people need to be aware of. I have to wonder why these types of stories dont make the news the way deranged madmen shooting innocent people do. According to the NRA law abiding citizens legally defend themselves 2.5-3 million times each year, over 7 million people carry a firearm legally and peacefully every day!! Yet we only hear of the few that have no reguard of the law or innocent life.

  • Thanks a lot for your story!

  • You did the right thing. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure getting hit in the head by a bat can kill you. And I would not risk my cranium to avoid shooting someone in the leg. I think the best thing to do in a situation like that, even if had only come at you with his fists is to first point the gun at him, and then he will probably turn and run like that guy did, and if not then shoot him, preferably not inany lethal area, you don't want to kill anyone unless you absolutely have to.

  • Is there really a law that says you cant shoot anybody in the back? I live in OK and we can shoot somebody anywhere as long as they have a deadly weapon and they are threatening your life

  • @BlackSabbath1204 Well if someone turns and is running away and you shoot them in the back, might not look to good in court....

  • @humans4targets2

That's true. And i probably wouldnt shoot a retreating threat if they were leaving but i would if they were trying to get to cover

  • @BlackSabbath1204 In court you will have to explain how they were threatening your life while not facing you. Not saying that couldn't happen, but it would look bad. I wouldn't let that stop me from defending myself but I'd hope that I could recognize a chance to not take a life.

  • @BlackSabbath1204 No... you do that and you will go to jail dude... even in OK. At that point you shot him when he was no longer posing a threat (assuming he is not going to hurt somebody else)

  • Where do you live? I'm a disabled vet in Washington state and have a CCP. Theres a "stand your ground" concept here about self defense that makes it a viable reason to pull your firearm. When he presents himself as a lethal threat, you have the right to defend yourself. Taking someones life is no joke and you handled that well.

  • @Headhunter425USMC I live in Ohio. Thank you for your service!

  • @humans4targets2 Nice control you had this day. I would like to think I would've taken off when he was reaching into the back of the truck but who knows.

  • @humans4targets2 me too, I have my CCW but are we allowed to shoot at a threat if thye dont have a weapon and they break into our home?

  • @recon82nd It really depends on where you live and the laws that are put in place.

  • @Headhunter425USMC What does being a disabled vet have to do with this?

  • They teach this tactic in our concealed carry class in Oregon. Always report your attack if you have to expose your weapon, just for this reason.

    Excellent video.

  • They teach this tactic in our concealed carry class in Oregon. Always report your attack if you have to expose your weapon, just for this reason.

    Excellent video.

  • @humans4targets2 - Calling the police like you did was super-wise. Excellent advice. Have you read Massad Ayoob? He wrote about a case where the bad guy called first (within a minute or maybe less) and the good guy had to spend $10's of thousands (and needed Ayoob himself as an expert witness) and just barely won his case. That's why I say a cell phone *with a charged battery* and a 911 hotkey is a must in a carry system.

  • I want to grow a beard =(

  • I am a LEO in florida, down here you do not need to retreat from a threat. obviously if the option is availible then take it. pulling a firearm in a agg. assault incident where you feel your life is in danger is perfectly ok. I will say this though, KNOW YOUR LAWS. many CCW permit holders do not know the laws in there respected state and therefore find themselves in a world of shit. Your story is perfect example of what being a RESPONSIBLE firearm carrier is all about.

  • A bat is a deadly weapon, period. Anyone who says otherwise is incredibly naive.

Your advice to call the police first is spot on. Thank you so much for sharing this experience. I'm glad that guy decided to back off, and after this experience he will probably think twice before picking on random people.

  • Great Job man!!!!!! In a perfect situation you MIGHT have been able to put your car in reverse and get away......BUT this wasn't and you did the RIGHT thing. I work for a Police Dept in TX and you did exactly what you should. For the people that comment and say you were wrong......They obviously have not seen a person get beat with a bat. It only takes one hit and you could have been dead/ severely brain damaged or a few other things. Great Job on contacting the Police too!

  • @deezel4400 Thank you, it is great to hear from a real police officer on this matter, and like I said even when I pulled my gun my finger was not on the trigger, it would have been if he contiuned on to me, so even with all this going on so fast I kept it safe....

  • @deezel4400 Surely it's much better to hold the person at gun point and summon the cops to the scene if you have a cell phone. Who's to say this individual couldn't have gone on to seriously assault someone else for no reason that very same day ? I'm anti guns for personal use & i'd be thinking ahead to try & avoid getting boxed in. But if i did have a gun in this scenario, there's no way in the world that guy would have been going anywhere.

  • @nosherz i dont agree man. let the guy go maybe he was having a bad day he learned his lesson besides this is an individual situation thats should not involve government in general- then again this is a libertarian talking.

  • @gracer99 Learned his lesson my backside. The last time I had a bad day personally, I don't remember thinking about deliberately engineering a situation that would give me an excuse to cave someones skull in. Let him go - I hear this reaction every time from americans in response to a situation like this. To me this sums up why you have so much violence and paranioa in your society. You're quite happy to let some demented psycho go scott free, so long as you've protected your own asses....

  • @gracer99 .......Suppose the guy went on to pull the same stunt a few days later and the occupants of the car behind were a young mother and her children - it's not impossible. No one wants to take responsibility and do what's right. If it turns out the cops just give the guy a slap on the wrist & you have to spend the rest of your days looking over your shoulder for him, then so be it. At least if the cops let him go free straight away and he committs a serious offense,........

  • @nosherz well, we don't know what his intent is. suppose he only intended to brandish the bat, or suppose he only intended to bust a light out of the car. suppose he is a great guy who was frustrated and wasn't thinking....Thats not impossible either. Its only a matter of abandoned responsibility according to your ethical framework which is no doubt influenced by a european statist conception of collective security

  • @gracer99 Maybe you're right, maybe i'm being too judgemental For all i know, the guy might have mistaken humans4targets2 for an ex pro baseball star & he just wanted him to autograph his bat. What was i thinking ?

  • @nosherz you are missing my point. my point is what you think or anyone else thinks should be done is irrelevant. There should be no moral obligations of an individual to a larger community. Indeed I don't think there should be any conception of justice existing outside an individuals actions and consequences for which their actions and consequences should hold account. The only justice is the justice of pure freedom and pure egoism.

  • @gracer99 No, I understood your point perfectly. Allow the thug the freedom to go and victimise someone else. As long as he's out of my hair, that's all that matters. And only call the cops if I think I might need to cover my ass.

  • @nosherz exactly

  • @gracer99 .......they can be held accountable.

  • If this guy is psycho enough to run up on you (and your a big guy :) with a baseball bat, he'd do it to a woman or young kids out for a ride. When he does, and he Will, this report will help to establish a history. I think you handled yourself well!!

  • What are all these homosexuals doing on your page?

This is a page for people that support the second amendment.

  • @xgiantsfan78x Exactly, some people just dont think, this is not the movies....

  • First of all ,thanx for that story.I have to say this one story was worth subscribing to utube. Not that it matter's,but did you hear any of the words he was yelling out.Did you see that a video that was shot by 3 ass holes who started following this dude and his girlfriend soley because he weas driving a BMW ? You could hear these guy's in their P/U truck calling him foul names, threatning him.The slow chase ended up down a 1way rd.The guy in the Bmw got out and pointed his pistol at these dudes.

  • @demmylowther (Continue)-He ordered his girlfriend to take the camera away from these thugs, filming the whole event. It just so happens the guy in the BMW,it was his Birthday and got a nice vid. camera from these thugs. They took the Aholes truck keys from them and told them to think the next time you mess with someone, and that their keys will be lying at the end of the road. These 3 thugs were out looking for trouble, and picked on the wrong people.Guns DO deter crime ! 110% FACT.Thanx for story

  • @demmylowther Yeah I saw tht video

  • What ended up happining?

  • It's to bad Reginald Denny didn't use the same technique. He might not have a permenent dent in his head. (and brain damage)

  • I had a similar situation but I was faced with 5 attackers in the courtyard of an apartment complex. I had to pull my taurus 24/7 .45 acp and contain them in an apartment when i left i went to report it to the local pd for just in case someone reported a crazed man waiving a gun at 5 people. cop asked me the same question why did'nt i drop them. i did because the threat stop soon as they saw that big bore

  • That's right. if the badguy is still holding a gun, then you cant tell whether he is leaving or taking cover to get a better shot. People don't think of that very often.

  • nice beard bro

  • thank god you have a laws system like that whatever the situation how bad over here if you pull a gun YOUR worse than the criminal shit i hate that

  • Thank you much for posting this video. I came from NY and menacing is a common thing in the inner city. I have since moved to Texas and now I carry concealed. I'm glad I live in a State that lets me carry as long as I have my CHL just in case a situation like that would ever happen to me. One could probably knock me out with a stick ball bat. I'm glad you're able to carry. Another great example of our 2nd Amendment right in action. Thanks for your advice.

  • I have a question did u call 911 or just the local departments number?

  • @volcom2442 Local

  • @humans4targets2 Next time, try to observe the license plate beforehand. I always try to get the plate of any vehicle in front of me that shows any signs of odd behavior, in case a situation does develop. As you found out it's very hard or impossibe to do once the situation occurs.

  • wow dude thats insane glad you were ok and everything worked out and you didnt have to fire. thanks for the advice I'm taking that advice and keepin it with me.

  • damn rite man. thank god (whatever god you pray to) that we can carry a weapon; personally I would have busted his teeth in first, I only pull a gun when my life is in danger

  • @bIGnmIZTEE2 Big guy with a bat, and you want to get close enough to swing a fist? And you dont feel that a bat is putting your life in danger?

  • @humans4targets2 i dont give a shit. i've taken a few baseball bats in my time and i believe in using my gun as a last resort.

  • @humans4targets2 i can take a few hits but if he would have knocked me down THEN i would have pulled my gun.

  • @humans4targets2 Your life was in danger. I've heard many times that baseball bats are the number one murder weapon in this country.

  • you are a great man to own a gun and seem to be very responsible with your fire arms

  • thank you for sharing your experience. Viewers be warned that Legal consequences don't always favor the responsible. Admission of drawing a weapon can be considered brandishing, disturbing the peace, terroristic threats, etc. If the police think you're the criminal, the gun is confiscated, your permit / license is gone, and you have to spend 1000's of dollars to get it back in attorney's fees. Even being the first caller isn't enough sometimes. Truly glad you did not face these problems

  • You are a very responsible gun owner

  • @sjerseyb856 Thanks bro

  • I feel like this is stuff ill need to know. I know these situations dont really happen all that often, but im consistently about 90% sure I want a CCW each time I watch these types of videos. Ill turn 21 in almost 5 months and still live with my mom. Ive talked to both her and my dad about it and they seem very uneasy and I have no idea why, especially my dad hunts and owns several rifles. I know I can make my own decisions, but its nice to have my parents' approval, ya know? Any advice?

  • @LotusDragon09 I'm 25. and like you, have had to deal with family disagreement over carrying. You'll find that some people, even those like your dad who use guns for hunting, don't "get" why any responsible person would need to carry a gun for self-defense. If you decide to carry, inform your parents, listen to their concerns, and voice your own while standing firm. Make your own decision, accept their disagreement, and leave it at that. A man makes his own way while respecting others'.

  • @gsl5003 Good advice. I might be able to persuade them by the time im ready to get one though. At least, ill try to.

  • @gsl5003 great speech

  • I look at it this way... Sure, you could have thrown it in reverse and took off. But you'd have also had to take your eyes off the threat and operate a vehicle in reverse and go where? As soon as you get far enough away, you'd still have to turn around the car. No good. You did right in my mind.
