Hey ladies, in addition to these tips in the video of losing weight after pregnancy, I found a site that has a one-month plan that's awesome to help with weight loss; it amazed me how accurate it is.
I loved the video...except for the last round of exercises. I've learned from my Ob and yoga instructor that once you're in the second and third trimesters, you aren't supposed to lay on your back. So, the abdominal crunches at the very end are probably only good for those in the first trimester.
this workout is perfect for me i actually saw results right after i did it, my sides are so slim and nice :)))) ive been trying to do this workout at least every other day
great video ! a lot of pregnancy workout videos on youtube are centered around being on your back and working your abs, but laying on your back like that for a while causes improper blood flow to the uterus. will deffinitly try tommarow morning !
I've noticed in all other videos that you should be placing a couple pillows behind you for any ab work once in the second trimester. Is there a reason you don't mention this for the ab portion of this workout? I know it has to do with the uterus causing blood flow issues once you're further along... so if there's any way to update on this, I think it's important.
This video is the best one I've found yet. I just got out of the military and went from working out a lot to not at all besides walking. I was afraid to get back into anything even remotely challenging because I didn't know how it would affect my baby. This workout is similar to some of the lower impact things we did in military PT and I can really feel it it my muscles afterwards so I know its doing me some good. Thanks a lot for posting!
