theres alot of good dnb but it still isnt tracks the type of dnb that i consider the true essence of dnb which a lot of old metalheadz had in abundance .dnb is different now and a lot of us old headz cant accept it... me included but thats life.
@JamesBrett2008 .. i agree totally . alot of my mates are into dubstep ( ive been into it from early doors myself ) and thats cool , but the new dnb sound isnt dnb to me . its either just to noisy OR to pop-tune-ish ( P'nB we say ).. and i hate to moan to new dnb fans like an old-timer , but the old tunes i think are better for mixing with .
I currently spend around £70 per week collecting old techstep and replacing some damaged ... and i dont mind at all !!
@RenegadeScot yea tunes had space to breathe and sometimes the poor mastering added to the dirtyness of the beats. its all so clinical nowadays. I understand music is always changing but in my mind you cant beat that dirty distorted punching dnb from pre 2000 instead of the over compressed plasticy noise drums that are used today.

This drum and Bass track is so dynamic. Very awesomely brooding atmosphere.
I always like the sound od the old D&B. It has this dark tone to it, like it really was underground music, and that's a good thing to me.
