  • this waaay cool. does anyone no how do they do this?

  • @sims123me Very long, involved process including making animated 3D 'models' on the computer, and syncing up the animations with a soundtrack.

  • Needs more COWBELL!! ;-)

  • I like how when the red skinny guy stops playing, he throws his hands up like, "yeah were badass"

  • @ArmstrongMissy138 I dunno - I always thought he was kinda annoying. He barely does anything compared to the rest of them and then he gets to be the one who throws his hands up like a boss. The blue guy doesn't get enough credit.

  • i wacht this at school

  • holy shit every sound is mapped correctly!!Groovy!!

  • Needs more cowbell.

  • Rogue soldiers on "liberty" leave.

Ugh! Good help is good to find.

  • I want this starship. :D

  • we watched this in music at school

  • Ehhh, I didn't like the 7/4 meter very much, but still EPIC.

  • They ought to call the little dudes makin' the music "Jambotz".

  • lol I played this at the same time as the video on my tv

  • 3014 called, they want their robots back.

  • OH so this is what robots do in their free time. :o

  • fire away

  • I'd love to see someone make that ship in Spore.

  • i'm definately the awesome blue bass robot! love his parts! espcially at 1:19 and at 2:50! yeah walking bass line!

  • Is it just me or does that thing kinda resemble a Star Destroyer

  • I would love to play that one instrument... thingy.

  • Love the vid and song. MrJenoptem, what do you get for your low low price? Ripped off?

  • Sound doesn't travel in a vacuum. So what you would actually be seeing is a bunch of robots hitting shit and some lights...

  • @MasterJudicator Who cares? Just relax and feel the groove, okay? This is too cool not to enjoy. ^n_n^

  • @MasterJudicator wait a minute doc, this is heavy...are you telling me this cartoon about robots playing music in space....isn't realistic??? great scott!!!

  • @wilky1189 LOl. I'm not hatin on the music or the video. I just thought of that, muted the song for a minute, and really got a kick out of the epic light show.

  • @MasterJudicator It can if you're using gravitic wave speakers.

  • @Orenotter Holy shit is that a real thing? I've been trying to make a sonic disruptor but it can't work in space, if gravitic wave speakers are real...I can finally beat those Klingon bastards!

  • @MasterJudicator Sure. What, did you think gravitron orbs were just for making stuff float around the room? You take about six of those in series, connect the pulse regulators to a polarity reversal magnacetor, then run the audio signal in via a plibtharnacetor, which can be easily constructed using a coat hanger, a toilet paper tube and a wire whisk.

  • @Orenotter Actually....yes. We have been using them to make flaoting chairs and cs. Are you telling me I can finally start that space band i've been talking about?

Some time later: Okay so I tried to make the gravitic wave speaker and i'm having trouble with the traglofratic input-output system. Did you use platinum or gold as the base metal? Also, apparently you need to balance the polarity within the orbs using a polaric flux generator. Where/how can I get one/build one?

  • @MasterJudicator I usually use eternium or cybertonium, though cardboardium will do in a pinch.

I wouldn't try to balance the polarity. If you do that, there's no electric current. But if you're determined to do it that way, try duct-taping some aluminum foil to some twine. If that doesn't work, try pouring gravy on a defibrulator.

  • @Orenotter Okay so I decided to just skip balancing the polarity and go ahead and build the wave speaker. It doesen't work. So I brought it to my lab in Hong Kong and we decided to try using monkeys brains and plastrictium as a conductor between power nodes 4 through 7. That seemed to work, but I didn't have a rubber duck on hand, so I had to improvise with a rubber band and a goldfish.

  • @MasterJudicator This is probably the most epic conversation on youtube.

  • I would like a set of those shirt light thingys

  • and one of those robots

  • @orangedude8 The ship carries it's own atmosphere. Come on. Work with me!

  • @orangedude8 Wait, maybe they're just in the sky and it's night...

  • So... Where are the spotlights coming from?

  • Lol at the red one

  • No wonder what we see at night

  • I think Animusic 2 opened with this song to show us they mean BUSINESS :D

  • Очень необычно!!

  • This is my favorite piece from the Animusic series! Well, next to Pipe Dream, and Gyro Drums, and...

  • I wonder how we can hear this if sound doesn't transfer through space?

  • those guys... and DAFT PUNK! epic music transformation!

  • it needs more cowbell!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • God I wish I could figure out how to play the blue part on my bass lol

  • @RockSarge90 Its a synth, so good luck.

  • holy fck this is AwSoMe. Wayne Lytle is a friggin modern day Analog synth Mozart. This groove is the reaon I gave my wife for buying $20,000 worth of keyborads over the years.

  • What time signature is that? =O

  • @AAw3s0m3 7/2 with alot of semiquavers, I guess. Or like, 4/2 then 3/2 or 4/4 4/4 4/4 2/4. Count it how you like.

  • @LesboPonyArmageddon Thanks there =)

  • @AAw3s0m3 I'd personally say 7/4. Doesn't matter, its 7 beats per measure.

  • i feel like the red one is going to fall off its rocker for some reason

  • the red one think hes the @$%!

  • I want drumming glow sticks ...

  • I'm a party machine...you know what I mean....

  • Hey, some robots actually have a cowbell :D (Say, Whot? You @#$!)

  • No one could ever hear this because sound doesn't travel trough space.

  • the star destroyer just got a bit more funky

  • @CallumE245. i got a fever...and the only prescription is more cowbell

  • Needs more cowbell.

  • I'm ashamed to admit I thought this was some super awesome real animatronics until about halfway in :c

  • this is retro music FROM THE FUTURE!!

  • idk y but i love the sound of the cow bell

  • @12345sumsum who doesn't?

  • 7/4 time

  • @TheocracyShawn I actually felt this more as 14/8, split into a 6/8 and an 8/8.

  • @TheocracyShawn I LOVE how it's in 7.

  • How do you make something like this?????

  • They're electronic instruments being Electronically broadcast into the spacecraft's lobby to entertain the space travellers! It's not meant to be heard outside the spaceship, DUH!

  • ... wtf, is this in 14/8 time?

  • @kaosblaze it's 7/8 time

  • lol they should be in star wars! to bad its graphics...in the future though.

  • 1:34 is the best part of the song. they should offer it as a ringtone

  • @nickster181

I can put that together if your still interested. It would just be an MP3 but most phones let you use an MP3 as a ringtone.

  • hey japan get to work on this!

  • LOL Robot cage dancer appears at 1:00

  • @Wattsini1

what are you? stupid? or just ignorant? the "cage" is the instrument HE's playing. (hence why it glows, like all the other instruments here, when he hits one of the bars.)

  • This ROCKS!

  • Glowsticks? Check!

    Robots? Check!

    Starship? Check!

Awesome tune pounding the fist of god at your soul? Check!

  • is that band real?

  • @Camuchoide

No, the word "Animusic" means that its music but in animation. So animation = computer generated.

  • @Camuchoide No, these are animated. That's why their called, "Ani-Music." 'Ani' stands for Animation, Music, well, it stands it for itself. That's all.

  • On another planet, they love music. So instead of just sending out a hello and nice to greet you probe. They created this ship that sends a musical greeting to all that will hear it. The ship roams the universe playing to whom ever or what ever will listen. Since math and music go hand and hand. Not just hello and 1 plus 1 equals 2. Its hello and lets GROVE!

  • Oh my god I love the way those two robots touch themselves :D

  • 34 ppl were in such awe of the music that they missed the like button!!!!!

  • I hope people will do this someday.

  • 34 people don't like the dual drummers with glow sticks.

  • This is my favorite one of all time.

  • Sucks that no one will ever hear this cause sound doesn't travel through space :/

  • maybe it travels as electromagnetic waves, which, if brought into the human hearing spectrum, will still be music.

  • @sickleandsuckle u smart ass

  • you're welcome.

  • @123Pizazz great comment...the fact that sound cannot exist in vacuum always has been ignored by almost the whole popculture...

  • @123Pizazz no i think it does

  • the best part is the first intro with the bass and drum mix

  • did anyone notice that most of the time it looked like the red guy was humping the air?

  • This is my favorite one. The built up the middle, from 2:00 to 2:32, was really good. I love the enthusiasm of the robot with the red instrument.

  • I gotta have more cowbell!

  • 1:34 is my best part

  • Now all they need is to put these robots to play som Jean Michel Jarre..

  • wats a cowbell?

  • @BrianParkz0427

it's a square shaped bell that farmers used to tye around cows necks so they wouldn't get lost.

  • And that was just there intro. You wait til they are bringing the death lazer heat! Yes, thats right! A hot death lazer that... doesnt.. kill people... o.O

  • 2:21- 2:34 Still needs more cowbell.

  • @MRRWJ2 EVERYTHING NEEDS MOAR COWBELL.

  • @19dynamite96

In some songs, you need more cowbell during a cowbell. XD

  • @MRRWJ2 Agreed.

  • is it possiblr for these robots to be real but in a different world called animusic?

  • You guys are stupid...

They're just repairing their ship and calibrating their star map.

  • why do they play music? did the mars rovers get bored? :)

  • duh they will find these guys some day its a laser light show they will find it in galaxy number 56
