  • thanks, ill have to try this in the morning, or maybe on my roll-up keyboard b/c my family's trying to sleep! =-D

  • what are the cords for everything but the intro(i got that down)

  • @brickmaster24 Verse is B, F#m, B, F#m, A, F#m, E, and E7 - I play the 7th (ie the d note) in the left hand, but it sounds ok if you play it with the right too.

Chorus is Bm, Bm+5 (ie augmented 5th, although it could be mistaken for an inverted G), Bm6 and Bm7. Then similarly, Em, Em+5, Em6 and Em7. Then Bm and Em before the 'riff'. Hope that helps.

  • thanks, this video is very nice

  • What keyboard did you use on this??? I Have a Yamaha PSR-275 and noticed some similarities... Just curious.

  • @skyprop A Yamaha PSR-GX76.

  • Thanks for the tutorial =D

  • Thanks, this is my one of my favourite songs and i love knowing how to play it now :D

  • Thank you for this, totally awsome. Could help us out with Golden Slumbers?

  • great keyboard playing thanks for posting

  • you have to seriously be retarded if you cant keep up with this vid! nice vid btw

  • Hey dude, great video . Is this the entire song though? I know it gets a little crazy near the end and I was just wondering if the song changed at all near the end.

  • It's pretty much the whole song, mate. The end of the song is just the B to F#m repeated. This vid just illustrates the verse and chorus, but there's another one which shows the whole thing.

  • Hi thanks very much for this - I learned it in a few hours by watching your vid - cheers

  • Just want to say thanks.. one of my favourite Beatle/Lennon songs and I'll never tire of playing it!

  • Hard to follow, make it easier and explain things

  • great man i've been tryin 2 learn this 4 ages!

  • Awesome!!! Thank you for posting this mate. Can't wait to get home and try it out.

Can you tell me what chords are being played on your right hand? I'm just learning and it's easier for me to think in terms of chords rather than trying to keep my hands in the same position as yours. Did I make any sense? lol Anyway, the chords would be much appreciated.

    Thanks again

  • I'm glad it helped, mate.

  • only music expert would appreciate this music

  • All he's playing is fifths, not really paul's bass part, except when he gets to the BM chord which he hits the third (D), You can hear it plain as day

  • how long did it takeyou to learn this song

  • MY FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME!

  • Yes, this video shows both hands. It begins with the left hand bass part then later shows the right hand chords.

  • Been trying to learn this by ear and it hasn't been easy. Thanks for the help

  • I appreciated your unique video approach to the lesson. Slow tempo and one hand at a time. I love the Beatles, have no musical training but married a wife with a piano. That's exactly what I needed.

  • Thanks a lot for this video!! I couldn't find the sheet for this song in the right tune and with the bass and that stuff, and I really really wanted to play this song :D thanks!!!
