Bahut bahut shukriya Sir. Very melodious song in the immense baton of Rashid Attre Ji. Mujhe to Naseem Begum Ji hi lagti hain. Lekin mere khayal se shayad maine Nazir Begum Ji ko bahut suna nahin ho, phir bhi..... :)

Naseem is as good as noor jehan and both of them are the best in indo-pak region. They have the sweetest voice and the highest fourth octave range. They give moorkian in the fourth octave, which I have not heard any body else do. Listen to them in film mousiqar. I am hoping that naseem's children may sing like her.

Inaam Bhai, yeh mera khayaal nahi balkey yaqeen hai lekin itney barey barey jughaadriyon mein mera kuch kehna chota moonh aur bari baat hogi. Aur Dr. Bukhari ki maujoodgi mein tu kuch kehna sooraj ko chiraagh dikhaney ke mutaraadif hai. Bohat sey log Nazir Begum ki awaaz Naseem Begum se mila dete hain. Isee liye youtube par unke gaye hue ganey bohat kam nazar aayein gey.

My mother was a radio pakistan singer and Nazir begum, Naseema Shaheen, Ishrat jahan, Shamim Banu and nighat seema were friends of my late mother in 50's and 60's aur main unki awaazein hazaaron mein pehchaan sakta hoon.

Unfortunately not becasue I was very young when she died and I also left Pakistan, however I have some LP's of Dholak Geet which were parts of "Khatoon" Programme in mid 50's. She always sung in chorus with Najam Ara, Kokab Jahan, Kajjan Begum, Ishrat Jahan and Shamim Banu. I am proud that my mother was a part of Pakistani National Anthem which was recorded in 1950 and I have some photographs of that whole team of singers with Hafeez Jalandhari and Z.A. Bukhari.
