  • 1.22 he aint want none

  • haha this guy is a mad dog.. wish i followed the ice hockey.

  • Stevens 4ever!

  • Raaaaaaaaaaaad!

  • is Scott Stevens the best all round toughest defensemen ever to play in the NHL

or is it Ray Bourque ?

  • i think he lost it to ray bourque, not knocking ray but he didnt have near the season stevens did then.

  • I get what your saying about not goin with the heavy weights, he can hold his own, but how many times has lidstrom drop the gloves? Droppin the gloves or goin wtih heavy weights doesnt when u the norris. he was the hardest hitter ever, he had only been called for elbowing 2-3 times in his career ever, he didint take cheap shots, he played tough for puck drop to the last second.

  • no doubt lidstrom cant fight so it would be dumb for him to even try.yes scott was a hard hitter but smashing some guys head off with a body check is done to injure the guy not just check him.

  • he never intended to injure everyone, its just those hits that injured others made the reels. He was respected by everyone in the league, find one guy he injured who felt it was cheap or any intent, he never charges or leaves his feet. He led N.j in scoring in 94 when they lost to the rangers in the conference finals, he led the team with 74 points and plus 53 on a defensive minded team, many times early in his career he had over 60 points, he did it all he should have won the norris .

  • he was a good defenceman but sorry not even close for the norris trophy he handled the puck like a hand grenade and for the hit on karia he should have had his lunch feed to him. he went for head shots trying to end guys carrers if someone hit a star player on the devils like he hit karia he would be whineing about a cheap shot. his fights were not bad but he could not go with the top heavy weights very well but ill give him guts for for trying.

  • he went with dave brown, probert, tochet, semenko and all the tough guys in his early years, had 7 seasons with more than 60 points, lead his tema and the league several times in plus minus, second all time in games played with wins, 4 stanley cup appearances with 3 cups, with missing the playoffs once or twice in his career. This guy should have won it in 94 led new jersey in scoring wtih 74 points ana a plus minus of 53!

  • he will always be remembered for his bone crushing hits but his fights when he was younger were something to see that is for sure!
