PART 1: I used to live in Bloomington and I once played music at at a "Global Warming" rally. (Hey, a gig's a gig.) Baron Hill spoke at the event. Afterward, he was standing near where I was talking to a group of people about "global warming", er, I mean "climate change". I turned around to listen and when I saw an opening I joined in on the discussion. I simply made a point about the pointlessness and inefficiency of subsidizing ethanol fuels and asked him what he thought. (Continued below)...
His face turned as red as a beet and I thought lasers were going to shoot out of his eyes as he glared at me. Finally he replied, "So much for having a serious discussion." All the "important" people of Bloomington in the circle started laughing and then quickly returned to competing for the important Congressman's attention. It was hilarious and a bit sad.
The posting of Hill's infamous Town Hall meeting has several hundred thousand views so it's not surprising this would come up and rightfully so. It is the very picture of the arrogance the DC crowd has towards the people of this country.
This ad could be the entire campaign. There is absolutely nothing Hill can say to explain it away. This wasn't a one time thing either, just the first time Hill got caught with being a bully.

The audacity of arrogance.
But sadly, it's our fault. We can't choose our representatives as if their selection will have no consequences on our lives.
It's a shame that anyone in public office would feel the need to act like this. It's was not how our government was intended to work.
Many of these representatives are addicted to power and only interested in serving themselves. Term limits would be a good start.
