Would really like to visit Alaska again, spent 3 weeks out on the Tundra outside of Nome back in '91 doing some gold mining....lots of gold on the beaches there.
Nice video. Brings back a few memories. I was stationed at the former air defense radar site on top of Murphy Dome back in the 1970s. I recall there was also a Nike Hercules or Nike Ajax missile site some miles to the north(?) of the Dome. I suspect there are few or no traces left these days of either site.

@stockfoodpics thats pretty cool man i hate the winters there but the summers are amazing! this day was deff a perfect day to go to murphy dome.
