Oddly enough, I spent some time with the occupy Nova Scotia group in Halifax last week. I found them confused and lacking direction. I toured their camp and offered my opinions, largely centered around big business and off-shore tax free practices. I am certainly no expert but my point being there is a huge percentage of the protesting population that can use direction and clarity on the issues. So keep it up!
One can bet their bottom dollar that the vatican will be right in there with the so-called elite and participate in whatever is required to reduce the population.

I am a practicing and devout Roman Catholic, and this statement by them, in my personal opinion, is outright wrong. The Pope can make mistakes on things not pertaining to faith (e.g. the Galileo affair), including economic matters.
You need not spew hate on an institution as crucial to human morality as the Catholic Church. I am blessed to be Catholic. Praise God.

A car is a great invention, but can be dangerous if a drunk driver is behind the wheel. You can use any example, the point is, the Church can be doing a lot of good IF it is under the correct control.

Oddly enough, I spent some time with the occupy Nova Scotia group in Halifax last week. I found them confused and lacking direction. I toured their camp and offered my opinions, largely centered around big business and off-shore tax free practices. I am certainly no expert but my point being there is a huge percentage of the protesting population that can use direction and clarity on the issues. So keep it up!

I fully expected this to happen and I find it difficult reconciling my feelings on the movement when I believe it may well be compromised itself, possibly from its inception.
