@underpedz818 you're annoying. stop criticizing other people's cooking channels when you probably don't even know how to cook and you probably eat frozen tv dinners every night. She didn't ask for your opinion. She's just giving out HER recipe.
@kitkatr608 I asked her to explain why she uses onions, and NO, I don't eat TV diners at all, but if i had to to survive I probably would! Just because you wanna get in her pants, doesn't give you the right to give your opinion on how I live my life!!!
extra virgin oil gets bitter after a few minutes, so why are you talking about the garlic getting bitter?? you should be using regular olive oil, instead of extra virgin!!!
@benghazino172 ur libyan right... from benghazi, i've seen a couple of ur comments on several other videos for libya :) im libyan too..but from musrata ;)
@fmacfan Um I like Laura but I think you should watch what you say. Paula is a great cook and deserves to have her own TV show. It's great that you support Laura but don't be rude.
This is how I make my sauce. She's right too, it's so easy. Adjust the onion, basil, oil, garlic to your liking. I prefer imported Italian plum tomatoes, I think they make a huge difference. They cost a little more, but they're far superior to the domestic (US) brands.
Nice vid, very similar to how I make my sauce. Except I use more garlic and use onion power bc I hate the texture of onions (but dont mind the taste). Also, I usually add some wine to my sauce, I find that Sherry goes well with tomatoes in particular.
Ooh that looks SOOO YUMMY!! i have to cook tonight and i think im going to try this, because it looks so easy! I'm going to the supermarket right now, thank you sooo much!! I love your vids by the way.
the smell of this sause is SOO GOOD! ....then again, im italian so i have to love the smell of garlic lol... but i would highly recommend this recipie!
It looked good Laura, I make it like you, but sometimes I'll add a pinch of nutmeg; I never use to until I saw it done and I tried it, and it is good. Also, our Italian stores here have all kinds of spices, and i will add some ground fennel seed..just a little. But I do add the fresh basil at with the tomatoes and then at the end. Doesn't matter if you use Romano or Parmagiano. I notice the wax still on the sides of the cheese as you were slicing it. Don't you remove that first?
@anajelly100 Hi there, There will be a video on fresh pasta coming up within the next couple weeks. It's an old family recipe that i have been making all my life and i'm sure you will love it! Stay tuned! And as always, thank you for watching! Laura :)
@LauraVitalesKitchen let me ask you what can you do if you have fresh basil for making a sauce on sunday...you use some and there is a lot left over. can u freeze the basil or no?

add the pasta straight to the sauce and then give it a good mix. I think that would have been ideal way to serve the pasta
