fords have been pulling everything smaller AND bigger than semis for more than 2 decades lol. and yes i have seen a ford f-350 dually pulling a full-size, fully loaded car hauler up a freeway hill on the second to right lane, passing semis.
they are the same thing, the only difference between the 250 and 350, and 2500 and 3500 is an extra leaf on the springs. everything else is EXACTLY the same.

I just got an 01 7.3 cause everybody said how reliable they are, $hit that thing has 68,343 and the motor has a bab knock.(and no its not a bad injector) Shouldn't of bought a powerstroke.
I'm just wondering how you can hear the engine knock over the injector cackle?? However, any engine, Cummins, Duramax, Cat or Navistar will blow up if you don't take care of it. A bad knock will mean cylinder/piston/ring damage and that's the owners fault, not the trucks... Too bad for you because those trucks will go half a million miles or more before they die...

actually they are, and the only difference between the f-250 and the f-350 is the suspension, and you have the dually option with the f-350. same with dodge. otherwise it's exactly the same drivetrain all the way around the truck.

i'll tell you how. ford does have bettre suspension, however dodges are pretty good in that class, too. the huge problem with dodges is their transmissions are bad. horrible, actually. ford has the best STOCK transmissions. dodge has the worst. the allison it the best tranny, but no company owns it, just allison. chevys give you a whiplash when they shift and they dont even use their own trannys. the cummins and powerstroke are both about the same and are both better than the duramax.
You're wrong. The B5.9 and C8.3 cummins engines are only available in F550 and above. Ford bought 10% of cummins stock in 1994 (when they began using cummins engines in their larger trucks) but in 1997 Cummins bought back all of Ford's shares. So therefore FORD DOES NOT OWN ANY PORTION (let alone a sigificant one) of Cummins.
When I still had my cummins I hooked it up to my PSD and pulled it around. I switched with my buddy and we got the same result both time...The PSD pulled the Dodge.

fords have been pulling everything smaller AND bigger than semis for more than 2 decades lol. and yes i have seen a ford f-350 dually pulling a full-size, fully loaded car hauler up a freeway hill on the second to right lane, passing semis.

they are the same thing, the only difference between the 250 and 350, and 2500 and 3500 is an extra leaf on the springs. everything else is EXACTLY the same.

I just got an 01 7.3 cause everybody said how reliable they are, $hit that thing has 68,343 and the motor has a bab knock.(and no its not a bad injector) Shouldn't of bought a powerstroke.

I'm just wondering how you can hear the engine knock over the injector cackle?? However, any engine, Cummins, Duramax, Cat or Navistar will blow up if you don't take care of it. A bad knock will mean cylinder/piston/ring damage and that's the owners fault, not the trucks... Too bad for you because those trucks will go half a million miles or more before they die...

he only reason for that is bad maintenance. the knock ca also be from the the main bearings, try looking at those.

actually they are, and the only difference between the f-250 and the f-350 is the suspension, and you have the dually option with the f-350. same with dodge. otherwise it's exactly the same drivetrain all the way around the truck.

i'll tell you how. ford does have bettre suspension, however dodges are pretty good in that class, too. the huge problem with dodges is their transmissions are bad. horrible, actually. ford has the best STOCK transmissions. dodge has the worst. the allison it the best tranny, but no company owns it, just allison. chevys give you a whiplash when they shift and they dont even use their own trannys. the cummins and powerstroke are both about the same and are both better than the duramax.

You're wrong. The B5.9 and C8.3 cummins engines are only available in F550 and above. Ford bought 10% of cummins stock in 1994 (when they began using cummins engines in their larger trucks) but in 1997 Cummins bought back all of Ford's shares. So therefore FORD DOES NOT OWN ANY PORTION (let alone a sigificant one) of Cummins.

When I still had my cummins I hooked it up to my PSD and pulled it around. I switched with my buddy and we got the same result both time...The PSD pulled the Dodge.

There are so many things wrong with this vid.
1. Never pull on grass. It's not a clear representation of what the vehicles are capable of (obviously, I mean the FORD won? C'mon)
2. Fords NEVER pull Dodges (if they have a cummins)
Look up Ford Dodge pull and the videos will say it all. FORDS SUCK.

well actually cummins isn't ford. neither is the powerstroke. the cummins is dodge and the power stroke is international, but international is owned by ford. the f-450s and 550s usually have the power stroke and the f-6 and 750s can get either the cummins, powerstroke, or cat. all are great diesels. the problem with dodges are their trannys. they are the worst on the market.
