  • Nice to know I'm not the only one getting in to handstands in that novel way, last time I fell I landed on a screwdirver:s

  • Hey Slizzardman, I've been following your videos for awhile now and amazed at your progress. I have a question I hope you can help me with. When I do a stomach to wall handstand, my shoulders are closed. I can't getmy wrists close to the wall no matter what I do. What specific exercises can I do to correct this issue? Keep up the great work.

  • @glockzr1 You are going to have to work consistently on chest and shoulder openers.

  • Good work buddy

  • Nice!

  • @dacicsak Thanks :)

  • You've lost a lot of weight brah.. Looking Strong!

  • @OmegaBlaze229 Thanks! You know what's crazy? I'm still about 200 lbs, and have been for about 6 months now. I'm just losing fat and building muscle!

    I appreciate the positive words!

  • It's interesting to note that your HeS stance is wider than what would be your HS stance. I'm talking about hand placement. Is that done on purpose?

  • @RandomHavoc Whoops, I meant HeSPU compared to HS.

  • @RandomHavoc HAHAHA, shoulder rehab right now requires that I am a bit wider, but my elbows still go backwards and not out. It just feels better in my shoulder. I'm hoping that by next summer I'll be busting them out like a smooth flow with true shoulder width hand placement but right now that would cause problems.

  • @slizzardman

I think I understand. Is it that it's harder to externally rotate with a closer grip? Or is it the depression at the bottom of the ROM? If I understand right, retraction shouldn't be the problem. Hope my analyses are correct.

  • @RandomHavoc None of that has anything to do with it, the comfort simply isn't there yet. I don't do things that don't feel right. If anything, my understanding of shoulder mechanics has changed and internal rotation is actually really important in almost everything. The problem is that people often can't do this without winging the scapula in certain positions.
