How can't the people understand that characters of SC are WAY better than of Tekken. Don't get me wrong, I like Tekken, but all of it's fighters are simply fist combat manicas, and through they're different, SC's are much cooler and comicer. And also, SC mixes 3D and 2D gameplay (super moves as of SC5), and it's atmosphere of tale... Memorable stages... No realism, but a fairy tale. And graphics are better in SC. And Char Customisation. And game is deeper, not for noobs, hard to master.
...continued the better game and does a better job at keeping you focused on the story and gives you more variety of game modes i.e. adventure mode(Tekken Force or Story mode in Tekken 6), sports(Tekken Ball + Tekken Bowl) and Tag Mode(Tekken Tag Tournament). Both Tekken and SC takes a huge amount of skill though and I would love to see a Tekken and SC crossover especially since Yoshimitsu from SC is an ancestor of the Yoshimitsu in Tekken so they should team up. Overall both are great games..
@jmeny14 Soul Calibur isn't popular in alot of other countries because of the weapon style gaming. Soul Calibur does have alot of modes. CAS,CotS,Tos, and more. I don't think the SC Yoshi is relatives with the Tekken one. If anyone would cause SC vs tekken, it would be Zasalamel (SC).

It's not stated in the blue that they're related but the game gives off clues such as SC Yoshi has many identical attacks to Tekken's yoshi only there's a few differences. Another clue is that one of his attacks is called Iron Fist Possesion and in Japanese Iron Fist stands for "Tekken."....

I'm going to go from a factual standpoint and then my opinion
Fact=Tekken ultimately DESTROYS SC in sales, if you were to add up ALL of the SC games, in sales it doesn't even add up to 10 million units but when you add up JUST Tekken 2 and 3 it adds up to over 12 million units which is, I repeat more sales than SC has ever achieved in their whole franchise in just 2 games.
My Opinion-I have no beef with Soul Calibur in fact it's my 3rd favorite fighting game but I believe that Tekken is....

Tekken was also looked down upon for the crap ass juggling game too, so that's not really a plus. SC has good modes like CotS and Sword Master. Tekken 3 had the highest rating of 9.3 actually not a perfect 10 like SC1.

I can't decide between Tekken or Soul Calibur because I'm a fan of both, I'd personally want to see Namco and Project Soul team up to make a Soul Calibur Vs. Tekken. Even though I'm a little bit more on the side of Tekken, I would love to see Devil Kazuya Vs. Nightmare.

from what ive seen in the game tekken characters have far more attack power, but soul calibur characters have more spirit power (there are the exceptions in both games) this kinda makes sense though

I used to play a lot on SC3 and T5. But somehow i think SC3 is better than T5 because SC3 got more stuffs than T5 . Creating characters , purchase different weapons, missions , fun rpg mode (i really like it) etc.. Now lets move on T6 and SC4. I prefer Tekken 6 here. Despite long loading times i still think tekken 6 is better, 40 characters+alot costumes to purchase , you can update your ghost data , new adventure mode+few difficultys and interesting storyline(i like it). Thats my opinion.

Wow I havent played much of soul caliber but I got to say it looks pretty fun, I'm a die hard tekken fan so definitely tekken is my #1 game, all I know is Virtua fighter is no where near as good as these two games.

I can't decide between Tekken or Soul Calibur because I'm a fan of both, I'd personally want to see Namco and Project Soul team up to make a Soul Calibur Vs. Tekken. Even though I'm a little bit more on the side of Tekken, I would love to see Devil Kazuya Vs. Nightmare.

from what ive seen in the game tekken characters have far more attack power, but soul calibur characters have more spirit power (there are the exceptions in both games) this kinda makes sense though

I used to play a lot on SC3 and T5. But somehow i think SC3 is better than T5 because SC3 got more stuffs than T5 . Creating characters , purchase different weapons, missions , fun rpg mode (i really like it) etc.. Now lets move on T6 and SC4. I prefer Tekken 6 here. Despite long loading times i still think tekken 6 is better, 40 characters+alot costumes to purchase , you can update your ghost data , new adventure mode+few difficultys and interesting storyline(i like it). Thats my opinion.
