Yes, I love this game very much. I love the setting and the characters in the game, but the story itself doesn't really tie up w/ SRW. The game play is awesome with the 45 degree map and multiple endings. I really hope Banpresto can create another lord of elemental game but I don't think they will, now that they are focusing the OG series. I haven't play OG yet, so we'll see how it turns out.

Yeah, but you also have to consider that most of the OG story tie-ins were made AFTER the normal anime-integrated SRWs. That's why I don't consider the first half of this game canonical. Although I will admit, the storylines for SRW EX and 4 could have been better.

If you really want to simplify things you could just say that Masaki fits anywhere simply because of his ability to get hopelessly lost. : p

This game was great. I loved it when I was a kid, and I still love it. I think it's my favorite SRW game so far, still waiting to see the new SRW OG one.

I remember I had to play it 4 different times just to see different endings.

Interesting enough; the mechs aren't chibi/SD unlike in otehr SRW's

I think this game is awesome, because story and all attacks can be very creative...just like the upcoming SRW OG
