  • what song is 1:34 i remember MONDAY NIGHT MATCHUP 80'S AND 90'S USING THIS THEME WHEN EXPLAINING DURING FILM FOOTAGE.

  • :45 '72 AFC Championship: Griese off the bench for the first time since week 5 and hits Paul Warfield for a 52-yard gain on his first play to spark the Dolphins' from 10-3 down. The Perfect Season is saved.

  • 2:09 was turn the beat around NFL Today used to use this on highlights during halftime

  • Does anyone know where I can go to get the track at 2:09?

  • @quigonroyal That's Disco Theme by Beverly Hermann, one of the forgotten composers of the mid/late '70's. Panthers1122 might have it.

  • Yes the name of the track at 0:45 has eluded me for years

  • yes, 0:45 rules, as my BALTIMORE [NOT indy] Colts

beat the Cowboys in the Super Bowl!! The "Ghetto" one

here is a treasure too...my all-time favorite is "Rainbows to

the End Zone" [not here] as my Broncos and Rick Upchurch

came back to beat KC circa 1973---it's on YT. I'm still,

STILL, still looking for "To Catch the Wind"---it was on

the 4 ORIGINAL vinyl 33rpm's i had until my sister tossed

them along with other memories =[ Each album was

    only $6 each back then!!!...T112211...1044pm †

  • Last three songs: Disco Theme, Gangs, Fight for Life

  • Does anyone know the name of the track from 1:35 to 2:08? Classic jazzy tune from the '70's. Love it!

  • @wizeman5974

It's from the album NFL Films music Library NFL-122 - ROLLER CHASE/THE WINNER'S CIRCLE. I believe that track is titled Roller chase.

  • I have found out from NFL Films, the names of some of the songs in this video. Conflict, Men of Steel, A Decision Awaits, Swift Rescue and Hallowed Ground, all composed by Sam Spence. They must be hard-to-find tracks from NFL Films, maybe using DeWolfe or APM or KPM. If anyone finds any of these tracks, please let us know where they are.

  • @whitecastlelover888 Yeah, great job. How did you find out from NFL Films? These would not be KPM which from an NFL Films standpoint featured the jazzy stuff from the late 60's/early 70's like Keith Mansfield, Syd Dale and a few others. I've searched APM high and low with no luck. Don't think they're on DeWolfe either.

  • At 2:09 its called Disco Theme. I have it. 2:39 Fight for Life. I have that one as well. I have Ghetto as well. 3:23 - Man with a Mission. I have it. 1:36 - I have it too. I forgot the name of it.

  • LISTEN....goo news...you can try "kpm 1000 series" on itunes...or amazon...i found a fee there.... Life is for living, industrial Panorama....great expectations.....Bad news...there are 1000s of songs...but filterable by artist....

  • I have yet to find online a way I can order a copy of this "NFL LP 100". Any advice on where I can find this?

  • :45...EPIC!

It was a golden opportunity for the Cowboys...but AGAIN, their hopes were shattered on the rocks of the Colt defense. Duane Thomas was hit hard at the goal line, fumbled the ball and Baltimore recovered.

  • @MrMatt8204 The song at :45 has eluded me for years, it is EPIC!

  • @whitecastlelover888 Yeah, the song at :45 is the "theme from the Colts defense" (in my mind lol) since it was used in Super Bowl V highlight film, to highlihgt the Colt defense...twice!

  • @whitecastlelover888 the song at 45sec eluded me to since S.B. 7 Im down to not knowing only 1 more its from S.B. xiii on Dallas comback in the 4th quarter

  • @MrMatt8204

One of the most gripping tracks in NFL Films. There where two quotes in SB V.......I'll get the other one.

  • @MrMatt8204 Thanks to NFL Films and John Facenda

i was probably the only boy/person in my small town who

had a clue what "extemporaneous" meant L()L...Colts vs

Cowgirls SB5 highlights, when the ball r()lled through

the end zone, starting with Sam Havrilak throwing the ball

    as i recall.........()...........T112211......()..........1059pm †

  • @MrMatt8204 Dallas fans says it was Dave Manders that recovered the ball

  • What is the name of the one that starts at 3:04? Thanks for posting this.

  • @1974NFL At 3:04 is "Ghetto" by Tony Luisi. Courtrocks07 says its from NFL LP 100.

  • @1974NFL

I think the name is Ghetto by Tony Luisi. It is from NFL Films Library #100.

  • I looked up NFL LP 100 on a google search and can't find it. How do ou order this? I ask ebcause I want to get a copy of Disco Theme and a copy of "Ghetto"....

  • At 2:53, you are listening to Fight For Life by Martha Jane Weber. The closing song is "The Seeker" by Beverly Herrman. Both of those songs are off NFL album 103.

  • At the 2:00 mark, that's Rollerchase by William Charles Soden. They used to use that for halftime highlights on MNF. It's on the NFL LP 122. Then comes "Disco Theme" by Beverly Herrmann, off NFL LP 100. Then there's one I would have to look up, followed by "Ghetto" by Tony Luisi, also off NFL LP 100.
