no you need to remove the paint and you use morter for the "adhesive" and then grout for inbetween the tile once you lay it out. You also need to use spacers so you have the correct space between the tile.
what kind of cement did you use for the tile on the roof of the shower ? :)

This is a very nice bathroom, it looks like two bathrooms that join together and merge into one, one with a tub, the other bathroom with a shower.

tile job looks great to bad you have a fiberglass shower pan. Its really cheap looking with the shower pan no being tile
