@serialhaxor In my experience, if you eat a comparable dose of acid and mushrooms, the mushrooms will be more visual. If you want to have a bad trip, you can eat a lot of either one and make it happen, but you can't actually OD from either one.

@kyurah 14 hours seems pretty spot on to me. Some people just react differently I guess, but

I don't think redosing is necessary to trip that long, at least with acid. That's a rather long time for mushrooms though.

I was on paxil for a sort time it was like being on acid. I got the strobe effect as well as the dancing cartoon charcters morphing shapes and colors the dreams were horific. I've never taken acid but from what i've heard. it was like having an acid trip.

I took acid once.. well.. couple a times... well... Anyway I can almost remember some of it. I was hopin' this song'd help.. It didn't... hmmm.. I do remember seein' a giant Leprechaun, about 30 foot tall, stridin' over NC (a foothill between me and Cherry Creek Peak), but I was on mushrooms. He looked like he was fixin' ta kill someone, but I can't remember how it ended.

I waited to long to go, the silver railroad crossing sign looked like a Christmas tree swaying in the breeze, until I got closer then it was a Railroad crossing sign.

Then the straightest flattest 1/4 mile of road in town was like a ribbon waving in the wind, I had a hard time staying on that ribbon with my car.

When I got home my folks ask me if I was alright, I said a bit of an upset tummy going to bed. Sleep right ...lol

When you first discover this stuff you think you've found a new world. After a while it's just another thing to get bored with.

I spent 10 years trying to exhaust the world's drug supply. Had some fun, but finally realized it was a waste of time. Ultimately you'll recognize the insight you dicovered on acid, shrooms, etc. is bs.

My advice, have some fun but get over it early. Really being smarter than the rest of the world - rather than just thinking you are - is a far better trip.

@Schillz33 In fairness PCP is a Stimulant, Hallucinogen, Dissociative and a Tranquilizer. Also an Anesthetic lol. Acid is just a Hallucinogen, and they arent even close to a similar compound. Did PCP once by accident on laced weed, never done Acid but I've done shrooms which is a closer buzz to acid than PCP from what I hear and PCP and Shrooms are nothing alike, at the doses I did at least.

Did a whole trip one night in my Volvo, cruising the circuit in town with a bottle of Rum Liquore, two good friends (now gone) and it was as comfortable an evening that I ever had. What a cozmic connection that night. then there was.driving to see JGB and listening to the early show 3/1/80. driving home in an intense fog after the GD Foxboro show in July 90' - there were so many times - not that I could do it on orange sunshine. ;-)

@ZionistCensorship nah with acid there is more potential for visuals bcause there really is no overdose so you can take more than you can with shrooms. the more shrooms you eat the sicker you feel and will end up with a bad trip. and shrooms fuck up your liver and the way you think, while acid's half-life is 4 hours... acid lasts longer too and has a better come up and come down and it is cheaper....and mushrooms taste like shiiiiit even when stuffed in a cheesy gordita crunch

That doesn't mean it only lasts 4 hours. And I'd say 14 hours is a long time without redosing at some point during your trip. If you're vomiting, that isn't a side of "good acid". Throwing up is what happens when you have nothing but acid and water in your stomach or if you are really new to the drug/take way too much.
