But a runner without arms would presumably have had them amputated, or was born without them... so the rest of his body hasn't had the evolutionary changes to bring about the physical balance that he would need without his arms in order to maintain speed...

The law of attraction can be viewed in many ways, but the underlying principles remain focused on the self becoming more aligned with the flow of life, of the physical reality we find ourselves in. I see it as breaking down that separateness more than creating a state of separateness. The me-me-me only exists when people operate with a superficial knowledge of these ideas. Delving deeper reveals your connectedness to others and their importance, (or non-importance) to your manifestations.

(sorry, i've been off yt for a year and only seeing your comment now)... but what you've just said rings true for me, which i tried to say here in a longwinded way... but this vid responses was to a whole discussion about, predominantly, The Secret and it's take on the Law of Attraction - the concept of positive visualisation bringing to you what you are visualising... which is a superficial red herring (and made the book writers a lot of mone... sigh)
There may be a law of attraction, but that implies also a law of repulsion. Now this leaves out totally whether the pulled or pushed is + or - and it is not so cut and dried. There are billions of attractors. All pulling and pushing. So you might not get anywhere because all the interference skews the net result. Then people wonder why some things don't seem fair. The FORCE is a composite sum, not a unary intent.

As you apply the label of "quantum" to your theory, carry it forward. Consider basic rational self interest as the orbit of the ego equivalent to the orbit of the electron around the nucleus of hydrogen. To jump to a higher orbit is to add energy that MUST be expended. The standard ego model dictates that this energy usually will scatter off in a negative charge manner, rarely but still sometimes it passes off as a positive photon. I will say more when I am not so kicked in the arse.
Wonderfully said! Love the visuals too. Synchronicity is very strange but it does seem to be telling us something. But, the way that circumstances meet almost magnetically. I sort of think that synchronicity is like some kind of guide force: letting us know when we are on the right path or train of thought. It isn't so much unlike when or where you feel really balanced and everything seems so strangely familiar. Or like when an artist 'captures the Zeitgeist' of our time.
To me The Secret was a popcorny manufactured Best Seller for the spiritual neophyte, a lay persons guide to Creating what you want out of life blah blah....I read the whole thing searching for the wisdom...the nuggets were there BUT it was a dumbed down idots guide. Creating, as we all do all the time is SIMPLE, it happens automatically and it doesn't get any easier than automatic...I will just have to vlog on this for U and E. to be continued:)
Poverty and having no wants or desires does not equal Spirituality either, does it? NO, then lack of poverty and wanting things does not reduce Spirituality either. What is Selfishness? What may be Selfishness in one person's opinion does not necessarily make it Selfishness does it? NO

Creating is not Simple, but then again it is the Simplest thing in the World, why, because we do it all the time, in every moment AUTOMATICALLY, therefore is doesn't get any simpler than that, does it?
We are Humans..because we were born that way. We have and Ego, because it was necessary to navigate the waters of Humanness. The EGO is not Evil nor an appendage, it wouldn't be there if it was not needed or intended...We did not create our EGO. The EGO was necessary for the singularity to experience it's self as a separate entity and by design there is a reason we have it. Egolessness does not equal Spirituality either.
Ego is a basic survival requirement. Without ego and all that follows we would just sit around, eat, self pleasure and the race would die in one or two generations.
No the law of attraction is that if you think only positive you will attract only positive. You do this not to enhance anything more than your own life. To gain what you desire. So in essence you harm others to obtain this goal. You don't see the homeless as they are a negative, you don't feel for the abused child as it's a negative and so you close the lid on a box that has you thinking only one forward ME ME ME thought. Get it now?
I guess we all have our own understanding of this 'Law' and this is certainly not my feeling or interpretation of the meaning, that said, we all determine individually the 'meaning' of something....my meaning is vastly different from this video and your interpretation.
