@SuperDanishDrummer try using your toes instead of your heels. if you lift your foot at the heel for the bass it has a lot of power, and can be a bit more accurate if you're going at a moderate speed, but if you want pure speed, lift with your toes instead. you'll be sacrificing a little power for the speed, but it works. good drummers can incorporate both styles into one song.
