  • Cute voice evac tone resembling this old man, I myself am a fan of nursery rhymes). Who knew there'd be a day, when a cuteness factor would come into a fire alarm system. After all, though, anything is possible. BTW, are you aware of which voice panel is utilized in this system?

  • @dispatcher50100 The speaker/strobes are pre-integrity but use the same strobe and it looks like the red remote strobe is an Integrity So it would have to be some sort of EST system most likely EST 2 or 3

  • 0:20 noise?

  • sounds like some sort of music

  • nice tone what is it??

  • @nick06111226 It's probably just some older style of code-3 temporal or it's a special code to indicate it's just being tested. Hospitals usually use chimes or voice evac systems to minimize the chances of startling the doctors or patients especially those with cardiac conditions.

  • @Gb755c From what the nurses said, it's the normal fire alarm tone.

  • how old are u?

  • @growlithfan225 Those are not Integrities they are the pre-Integrities. They use the same strobe but if you look the speaker is different.

  • Not to be disrespectful here. But it sounds like the first notes of the barney intro dong, lol.

  • How old is your sister?

  • @akapi26 Eleven.

  • I hope your sister feels better :)

  • It sounds like the first 3 notes of this old man LOL

  • Nice job

  • I pretty sure that tone is not NFPA compliant.

  • @Voyage400 NFPA?

  • @Gb755c National Fire Protection Association.

  • was it loud ?

  • What ended up happening with your sister?

  • @Gb755c Basically, it ended up being a bigger problem than we thought, but she's okay now.

  • @Farenheit4051 Glad your sister is ok hope it's nothing long-term

  • @Farenheit4051 I hope your sister is okay man. I feel bad. :'( Poor girl.

  • I wish you and your sister the best man!!:)

  • most likely

  • what was the squealing at 0:44?

  • @SpecializedChild462 It was the tone that indicated the end of the alarm.

  • @Farenheit4051 I mean the high pitched squealing in the background not the alarm. Was it like the panel or something?

  • @SpecializedChild462 My best bet is that it's audio feedback from the speaker system.

  • @Farenheit4051 most likely

  • THIS OLD MAN, HE PLAYED ONE, HE PLAYED KNICK NACK ON MY....FIRE...ALARM...

This is by far the coolest tone I've ever heard a fire alarm sound

  • @JSB1983 LOL This old man. I was thinking the same thing.

  • @Farenheit4051 So was I :)

  • Older EST speakers, interesting, especially in white, too. Also, that's an interesting tone for evac. Must be an older EST tone.

  • @NewEnglandElevators The tone is pretty interesting, but it's barely recognizable as a fire alarm. They should probably switch to a code 3 chime tone.

  • @Farenheit4051 That actually is code-3 just without the space between each beep. I've heard some Schindler elevators that go DING DONG! to signal that it's going down and a long DIIIIING for going up. Electronic signal of course.

  • @NewEnglandElevators they look like EST integrity speaker or chime/strobes

  • @Gb755c: Those are the older Pre-Integrity's. They use the same strobe, but the body is different.

  • @NewEnglandElevators all the fire alarm companies have both red and white versions of their alarms. As long as the word "FIRE" is clearly visible on it state codes will not care. The pull stations have to be red but I think they are a little forgiving on the horns themselves since they don't want them to stick out like sore thumbs either!
