perfect! i've just got a fulldrive 2 and in my opinion it's more useful too; GT500 has a lot of gain which could be good for heavy metal but it's not my genre. If i want more power for solo sound i use the fd2 paired with a ts9dx.

with the GT-500 the controls have a very wide range and he's got them up fairly high. The levels especially.

I have a GT-500, and it is super versatile. If you play multiple styles in the same set and don't want multiple distortion pedals to set up, it's a great piece. The boost side is super transparent and can get you from clean boost to Tube screamer pretty quick. You can go from AC/DC, to Sabbath, to Metallica and beyond with the distortion side pretty easily too.

I must say though, the Fulldrive 2 sounds fantastic!

The GT500 almost sounds. . . Digital. I don't like it. But I hate most "distortion" pedals. . . If you need that much gain, just stack overdrives. Much warmer tone than any distortion I've ever found could produce.

the red one sounds much more true than the grey. Grey = farty and gross. Red = more of an overdrive pretending its a distortion for the distortion channel. It add's a ton of bass response.

if you are useing the mic on the camera, I dont think facing it backwards is a good idea, this video doesnt have as clear audio as your others.

The Fulldrive is more useful to me...I don't really have a need for the amount of gain the GT achieves...but still super cool!

Fulltones ARE AMAZING!! I got those two pedalS AND BOTH R CRAZY GREAT!! I like how you try to keep ur guitars simple. Thats why I play a standard Tele. good sounding z too. also check out Mahoney boss tone pedals made in Nashville...hand made pedal that is crazy great. Thanks for the post brotha!
