I saw DB at SUNY New Paltz back in '77 and to this day it was one of the best shows I've ever seen . . . and he's still got it. Turns 63 today or tomorrow.
I first saw him in Schectady NY at the Procters theater sometime around '76 at a show to raise money for the cafe Lena I think. He collapsed the house.
A genius and a giant. A force of nature. There is nothing like a Bromberg concert.

I was at that show in New Paltz! It was at that bar on Rt 32 whose name escapes me. Anyway, I hung out with the band after and it was crazy!!!

I totally agree that he really is a genius.
It was over 30years ago when I first saw DB in concert in NYC and ever since then I was hooked up with him.

I've really enjoyed his unique style. Not NOBODY is like him. Somewhat like Van Morrison (WHITE but close to BLACK) in music.
