  • I got one of the 250 C.B. Elephant Ruger #1's. I wouldn't recommend re-chambering the handi-rifle the recoil would be brisk to say the least, you could how ever have a custom barrel made.

P.S. African elephants have never been endangered; Asian elephants are different story all together. But that’s what happens when you have a human population that’s out of control and no regulated sport hunting that generates revenue for conservation!

  • Fuck you hornady !!! Trophy jerk offs

  • Every respectable firearms/ ammunition company should promote responsible hunting, not just shoot the biggest game to hide your tiny dick. Food is the only reason you should hunt, you can not call yourself a hunter when you don't. Fuck you hornady.

  • @keesurt The meat goes to the locals and the fees help sustain the preserve, dipshit.

  • @geniusiknowit you pindick, i fart in the face of your father. just let the locals eat each other like they usually do.

  • @niteholler Let them eat your mom's twat. That's fat enough to sustain them.

  • @keesurt i agree!

  • Can you make a 45/70 Handy Rifle fire this cartrige just by lengthening the chamber?

  • @616ist I wouldn't do it, I don't trust the strenth of the handirifle. However you can make the 45/70 launch Horndady DGX and DGS bullets at respectable speeds. Enough for cape buffalo atleast, not for elephant. ****(Not out of any lever action rifle, ever)

  • @616ist To better answer your question about converting your Handi-Rifle. I checked pressures and rifling, you could do it for sure.

  • I have a Ruger No.1 chambered for this cartridge. It is my favorite big bore!

  • @sidewindermack Are you using the factory leaf iron sight or did you replace it?

  • @theatwo I use the factory V leaf sight. It is the C.B. Elephant model, the sights are not the same as the regular No.1.

  • @sidewindermack Thank you, I just recently shoot a C.B. Buffalo. I really enjoy those express sights much better than the standard leaf rear sight of the old tropicals.

  • The 458 Win Mag will fire a 510 grain bullet at 2100+.

  • Design for kill animals? How cool? AMERICAIN is this type?

  • @MangoKingoroo what you dont even make sense

  • @MangoKingoroo If you are asking if its designed to kill animals, yes it is. How cool it is depends on your own opinion. The company Hornady is American. Cartridges like these are not often used for hunting in America.

  • @MangoKingoroo The original nitro 450 was a British round designed in 1902. It was a hunting round for big game animals. Not many people use them now because they're pointlessly large for anything other than shooting an elephant or the like, which are endangered.
