Jessica Pare also did a great job in this movie, it's too bad no one mentions about her because she's a Canadian actresss and she's not known by many, but her acting is flawless just like the other two actresses in the movie. It's too bad the ending was sad, but it's still a good movie.

The only realise Tori ended it is because her sister found Paulie in bed with her naked, she was scared that her sister would tell her parents that she's gay. Her parents are strong believers in god, she knows if they ever found out her parents wouldn't want anything to do with her. That is why Tori ended the relationship with Paulie, not because she didn't love her it's because she put her family first. It's just that Paulie couldn't move on, but Tori managed to move on in her own way.

This movie is gorgeous. The fawless acting, and the love that could never be. So powerful, so raw and it sends such a message. The way they could never be together because of the other people. Paulie wanted to save Tori for she was the only person who kept Paulie sane.

Tori wanted her too. But she could never have her. It was just so...oh my gosh. I can't even describe how beautiful the film was. It was so softly filled with hushed passion....

I think she did love Paulie, but not in the deeply passionate way that Paulie loved her. I think some people are just made that way... they feel deeper than normal people, like artists, poets, and musicians... that's the kind of depth Paulie had. Torie was attached to Paulie, and loved her in a more "puppy love" kind of way. That's why when she ended it, she was sad, but not devastated the way Paulie was. It's a different level of love and hurt with those who are like Paulie.
