Bungie got lucky with halo 2 they even admitted that. The weapon glitches weren't intentional but were what made it great. Because of this there will never be a halo as good as number 2 :(

Such a great montage, I remember watching this back in like 8th grade. Halo 2 was a phenomenal game, and I had a lot of fun playing that game. Hell, if I had an actual team and didn't play with just my friends in customs I probably could have done MLG. Good times, RIP Halo 2 Multiplayer-Your campaign is still one of the best!

Yeah I never remember shooK ever placing high in MLG; I just knew he was the first to make montages popular. Never thought he was that great - I mean around my skill level - but not above me or my friends. He played with a lot of pros and I remember over half of all the people in this vid, whether friends with them or just well known pros I've played against.

as shook said this is totally a skill montage. The plays arent unbelievable, but they display his awareness (using radar, know where the enemy is), knowledge of the game (knowing sniping angles and good vantage points) and skill (consistent headshots/quick scopes). in a way these montages are better than the ones that have the ridiculous sticks from across the map that take 100 tries to get.

yeah, now like the halo 3 montages, now i see most of them. Only the pros make good halo 3 montages, most of the random will get a stupid lucky ass no scope or get 4 kills with one snipe.
