When he was talking to a reporter before diping him, he accidentally made a sudden movement in the concrete which was supposed to be hard. It was not hard. ... ridiculous!

It's all clever illusions. They don't show you how he breaks free just that he does. The cement block has an escape switch. His "struggle" is for show. Unless we can see in front of our eyes how he does it, this isn't very impressive.
