@DeemMusiqChannel That's partly because Fefe Dobson, Amerie and a few other female artists were signed to Def Jam and/or had the same management/people as Rihanna and she was heavily promoted and favored over the other girls despite having less talents.

@DeemMusiqChannel Also it's popular to point out the person with the least talent but most success (or even just the most popular) when someone else can't seem to catch a break. The idea is that you have to have talent to be discovered & be successful so it seems odd to some folks. I just don't get how people can listen to Rihanna but complain about Rie's voice, but I personally don't blame Rihanna. If it's not your cup of tea it's fine but the girl is not untalented.
